“Absolutely fantastic service. Arrived super fast, cut to the size of my kitchen table and flattened out of its roll within minutes. I also appreciate that the off-cuts get sent in the package too, as I now have a small cutting mat for desktop jobs. It is so useful that I Just bought a second bigger mat (via work) as it is the perfect surface for pattern cutting.”

“This cutting mat is a game changer for me, I'm a leather worker and the difference in blade retention using a rhino mat compared to a cheap mat is like night and day, blade status sharp 5 to 10 times longer and the service was fantastic, came next day despite covid”

“I purchased a custom cut heavy duty cutting mat, with grid mat, for my sewing table. Shipping time was great, received within a few days. The cutting mat itself is really good, I’ve only used it a couple of times so far. My only complaint is with the grid mat. I was concerned with the 4mm thick cutting mat the guidelines would not be visible so I contacted Rhino on live chat before ordering and was reassured that you could definitely see the lines. This really isn’t correct. You can just about see them but they are in no way clear enough to be used as a cutting guide, had I known visibility would be so poor I would not have bothered buying the grid mat.”

We are pleased to hear that you are happy with your Cutting Mat but very sorry that you are not happy with your Grid. As you know, the best solution is to go for the Green Mats with the inbuilt grid but when the size required needs to be bigger as well as needs to be able to handle a Rotary Cutters, the Heavy Duty Mat with a seperate Grid is the next best option. I'm really sorry to hear that you didn't think that the Grid was clear enough so I have passed your comments onto the Quality Assurance Department who will take this into consideration when reviewing our products. We truly appreciate your time in completing this review as we do take our Customers feedback onboard which helps us strive to improve our products so that they can be the best quality possible for our Customers. “The communication and customer service was excellent. The custom cutting was done very accurately, however the uncut standard width of the mat was 3mm shorter than specified meaning that I had to cut down the surface beneath to get a flush fit. It would be good to pre-warn in the product listing that there is some significant variation.”

We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with your order and your mat to be 3mm short. On the very rare occasion there can be a very small tolerance of between 1-3mm and we apologize for any inconvenience that this caused. I have passed these details onto the warehouse so that they are aware of this. I'm very pleased to hear that the custom sizes were cut accurately and I do hope that you will use us again in the future and that we can provide the 5 Star service that we always strive to achieve. “I got a cutting mat for our kitchen table at home as I do lots of sewing and craft. I don’t know why anyone would buy a small but very expensive craft mat when you can buy this absolutely brilliant one from Rhino”
