Charley Chau makes beautiful bedding for dogs that look gorgeous in your home. An award-winning small British business, we focus on designing luxury dog beds and blankets that are cosy, stylish and practical, and made to perform over time. Comfort for our canine customers is paramount, as is styling for our human customers, and we design to a mantra of ‘machine washable everything’. We set out to make the most beautiful dog beds in the UK and we’re proud to say that we now have customers in over sixty countries around the world.

“This is our second Charley Chau bed. This time size small and with waterproof covers. Just fabulous as our first large one. Immediately used and loved. We also bought waterproof covers for the large bed as we noticed the cushions inside get very dusty. Our large dog is very fluffy and she brings in lots of dust and even frequent vacuuming of the bed is not enough. The waterproof covers actually hold the shape of the large bed and the sides do not get squashed easily. Easy to wash, looks like new after a wash. Also the covers dry quickly. The dogs are both seniors and they used their new beds more frequently compared to their old ones. They stopped going on the sofa and rather go into their bed which is more comfy.”

“A fabulous faux fur throw for a chilly Melbourne (Aus) winter! Fast international delivery too. I should have bought a large for my 3 fat terriers though - they spend hours jockeying for a position on it!”

“Bertie our Scottie took delivery of his new rattan rectangular dressed bed and he is thrilled he doesn’t have to share his sister Martha’s bed which he was very partial to !! He loves the comfy mattress and soft padded sides and can regularly be found snuggled up snoring a way he gives it a big 10/10 😀👍”

“A brilliant business to deal with. I ordered a pocket dog bed for my whippet as he gets cold easily during the nights. This way he can tunnel under his own cover without having to wake us up in the middle of the night or getting a chill. The bed is very soft, good quality, perfect size. Firstly I ordered size M as I made the mistake of not fully reading the product page (they state it there clearly, whippets need size L). They were nothing but extremely helpful, exchanged the product for me with about 2-3 days turnaround time. They responded to my emails and provided help all way long. Fab customer service, I wish all businesses would be similarly easy to deal with! I can only recommend using them!”

“My Podenco finds his Charley Chau comfortable. I do think it is overpriced just a little, but the quality and the design are great. He loves to curl up in the corner, so great for podenco's, greyhounds and whippets.”

And I'm also extremely glad to know that you're happy with the design and quality of the Ducky Donut Bed you have purchased. I believe you chose the large Dark Grey bed with the full set of seven Waterproof Liners. I am sorry to read that you think the Ducky Donut Bed is overpriced. We understand that Charley Chau products are an investment. And we design our products to perform over time. We expect our beds to be used for years rather than having to be thrown away after few months use. This is why all our beds are designed so that they can be taken apart to be washed with spare covers available and why we have replacement mattresses/feather pads. All of which help to further extend the life of a Charley Chau bed. Best wishes, Jenny

“We have brought Charley Chau beds for many years, not only for our sighthound rescues but for other rescue breeds also. This latest purchase was for a 14month old rescue from Serbia who was extremely nervous and unsure of the outside world and for the first week found solace in her Charley Chau bed. She took to it immediately and runs to it and buries herself amongst the cushions every time she needs to feel safe. A week on she is settling well and we have moved the bed into the main area where the other dogs live and it's hilarious to watch our 2 GSD's try to fit into it. The Deeply dishy luxury velour bed is the latest of our purchases, we have others scattered around the house which our elderly whippet cross (and 2 GSD's) use every day with a faux fur blanket on top. Our dogs are spoilt and we buy the best, but the quality is without question unrivalled, we still have all the beds and they have been washed countless times.”
