Charley Chau makes beautiful bedding for dogs that look gorgeous in your home. An award-winning small British business, we focus on designing luxury dog beds and blankets that are cosy, stylish and practical, and made to perform over time. Comfort for our canine customers is paramount, as is styling for our human customers, and we design to a mantra of ‘machine washable everything’. We set out to make the most beautiful dog beds in the UK and we’re proud to say that we now have customers in over sixty countries around the world.

“Brilliant company, great customer service and exceptional products. Slight mix up with the shipping, which they proactively resolved before I knew there was a problem! - and they refunded all shipping costs. Customer service at its best.”

“Bed is great quality and super soft. We bought the large snuggle bed for our whippet puppy as we know they’ll grow into it. Customer support was very helpful and nice. Highly recommend if you’ve got a whippet or a sighthound who loves to snuggle.”

“I bought a pillow to replace the old one in my dogs bed & a fleece blanket. The lady at the stall in Badminton Horse Trials was very polite & helpful. My dog loves his new comfy bed. I highly recommend treating your dog from Charley Chau & I will be purchasing from them again in the future.”

“The beds arrived very quickly and are absolutely gorgeous - so well made and such beautiful fabric and colour. Sadly both my miniature dachshunds are not very keen on them so far ☹️. I am not sure if the built-in cover is a little tight or If they are finding the pad too firm but so far the beds are looking very stylish in my bedroom but empty, while the dogs are snuggled in their old tatty doughnut beds😆😆😆 I think I need to remove the old beds so they have no choice!”

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and I am sorry to read that the Snuggle Beds haven't been a hit so far. We see a lot of size variance amongst Miniature Dachshunds and we find that they generally need the medium size because of their length unless the dogs are very small. And if your dogs have not used Snuggle Beds before, they may need a little encouragement/training to use the Snuggle Beds. If they are food-driven, using treats is a great way to encourage them into the Snuggle Bed. Take a small piece of a treat that they are particularly fond of and place a small piece under the cover right at the front. Once your dog retrieves it, repeat in a similar position and do this a few times. And then start to move the treats further into the bed. Dogs will usually learn quite quickly that they can get into the beds on their own. Hello Jessica, I am very sorry the Snuggle Beds have not been a success with your Italian Greyhounds. We take the quality of all our products very seriously and forwarded your feedback to the mill that knits the faux-fur fleece for us to use in the Snuggle Beds exclusively. After a little investigation at their end, they informed us that an incorrect roll of fur was sent to the sewing team in error. And this roll of fur was subsequently used to make a batch of Snuggle Bed covers. Unfortunately, this particular fur will shed a lot more than the faux-fur fleece used normally, resulting in excess loose fibres within the bed. This helps to explain why washing the covers has not helped. If you are happy for us to do so I will arrange for two replacement covers to be sent to you.
