“The cartridges arrived well packed and on time, which was great. That's where the quality ended. Magenta is dominating every print, so everything is coming out purple. Not so great when you are trying to print full colour documents. Its the first and last time I'll use a non genuine cartridge.”

“I`ve purchased cartridges from here before and all worked very well. However the latest purchase is disappointing, the supplier has changed the design and now the indicating system (LED built into the cartridge) does not work. I was aware of this problem prior to purchase, so rang to see if I would be supplied with the same bad design, the help desk were not sure what would be supplied, so I took a punt. Bad decision on my part, now I have two complete lots (10 cartridges total) of duff cartridges, although the ink flow seems to be ok. But the Canon indicating system will not work so knowing when cartridges are empty is now hit and miss. Not sure if I will use this supplier again, will keep viewing forums etc. to see if others have same problem.”

Having bought a non-branded Canon cartridge, it’s not unusual for the Canon printer refuse to show ink levels or show them as “low”. This is due to the printer realising that the cartridge is not an original Canon product. In remanufactured cartridges, the chips sometimes have a record of how many pages were printed and they cannot be reset, even though the ink tank is refilled to maximum capacity. As a result the printer reads the chips and tells you that the cartridges are empty, even though they are not. We do have trouble shooting. “My Epson Stylus 1520 medium format printer is now 21 years old but I wouldn't be without it, being able to print over-sized A3 on A2 paper and on a variety of other media including banner. It is becoming increasingly hard to find inks using the model number. As with many other applications the cartridge is shared with other printers and The cartridge People were able to provide T0520 - colour cartridges at an extremely keen price with rapid delivery.
