“I received my order via Royal Mail and packaging had been torn apart and was all put into a plastic bag together with my order. 1 item was missing, and an attached message said I might be able to claim compensation if anything was missing or damaged. Didn't sound very promising! I contacted Customer services at Cartridge People and spoke with Sarah, who immediately said that they would send a replacement item, which I received the next day. Excellent, friendly service from them, as usual.”

“This is a follow on to "own brand cartridges" for epson 1500 cartridges, have uploaded photo's so you can see the result of 6 weeks on our front door, not so bad(not good either)under the Sellotape, but worrying if you do a print and intend to sell it! I have ones done with original inks and they last far longer, when I restock with original ink will upload a direct comparison.”

Good afternoon Thank you for your review. Initial print quality between dye and pigment ink is virtually the same. Both the vibrancy and colour reproduction look very similar. It is hard to tell the difference between dye and pigment ink when comparing quality not looking side by side. All inks, whether dye or pigment, will begin to fade over time. Dye ink, generally, is recommended for indoor use on products. If exposed daily to direct sunlight or bright indoor lights, dye inks may start to fade quickly. Pigment ink has a superior UV resistance and therefore is selected when many years of indoor use or up to two years of outdoor life is required with little fading. Dye inks are able to provide softer colours which look more vivid and brilliant than the pigment ink. They may come off when in contact with water unless printed on special coated label material. The print is water-resistant as long as the label does not rub against anything disturbing. When it comes to quality generally spoken dye ink wins. Pigment inks tend to be lighter in colour than dye they are more water-resistant while producing a truer solid black than dye. The pigment ink holds its colour, quality and vibrancy better than dye. At the end of the day, your choice depends upon two things – what kind of things you want to print and how much you are willing to pay. · Choose pigment if you want longevity. · Choose pigment if your prints will see a lot of sunlight. · Choose pigment if you’re printing on glossy paper. · Choose dye if colour quality is important. · Choose dye if price is a concern. · Choose dye if you want to avoid smudging. “Purchased the Canon branded cartridges which I have always been happy with. About 10 minutes after making the purchase I received a call from a chirpy chap called Connor from Cartridge People who essentially gave me the hard sell on why the Cartridge People versions were better and that he would send me double the amount for the same price of the Canon cartridges. Suspicious that this seemed too good to be true I reluctantly agreed and received the CP cartridges the next day or so. My suspicions were right, they are TERRIBLE. Halfway through printing red A4 signage the colour suddenly turns orange then yellow?! (see attached pictures) On checking the cartridge I noticed the Magenta had totally run out despite my printer showing that there was still a quarter left. I immediately emailed Conner who surprise surprise did not bother responding, as it seems his role extends no further than taking people's money. I eventually heard from another agent after trying another email address and I have been promised Canon branded cartridges once again. Having used Cartridge People for a only a year, I have now lost trust in them and will not be buying from them again.”
