“A really good service from start to finish. Needing a replacement key quickly Car Key Solutions was able to send an operative with 24 hours, he arrived on time, was able to make a spare key with a minimum of fuss. I would gladly recommend this service.”

Hello, We are sorry to hear that the issue with your Honda Civic was not resolved. We always try our best to sort out any issues on the spot. In your case, the fault with your alarm can be caused by : 1. Vehicle remote which does not work - The alarm starts if the vehicle has been locked remotely by pressing the lock button and afterwards opened manually by using the door lock. As you explained you opened the car manually - this is the main reason we visited you. 2. Also same symptoms can be determined if the alarm battery is low or if there is an issue with the alarm - we informed about this as well. Our agent informed you that this could be a key related issue that we fix on the spot or can be something else that will involve a £100 call out charge. Also to avoid the call out he asked if you can drive the car to one of our workshops for a FREE diagnostic since we were not sure it is key related. Our workshop is 20 min away. Our technician came to the vehicle and unfortunately the issue was not with the remote. The issue was with the alarm system on the car. At this point, he decided to help you by stripping part of the plastics covering the alarm system so you can see where it is and disconnect it yourself (for no extra charge). Call out was charged as agreed with my colleague over the phone beforehand. Nevertheless, we tried to contact you on 2 separate occasions to check I you managed to disconnect the alarm but unfortunately, no one pick up the phone. Please call us back and we will be more than happy to help you further in this matter.

“This was for a spare 2nd key, not an emergency call out. Fantastic customer service! Initial quote received within half hour of enquiring, on New Year Sunday evening. I phoned bank holiday Monday to book and was given an appointment the same day, only 3 hours later. Guy who came was friendly, efficient, on time (well early, but he did phone ahead to ask if that was ok) and did the job quickly. Very very happy with this service and would 100% recommend”

“I am extremely satisfied with the service. The technician arrived within one hour and replaced my key promptly, which left oks as good as new. The new key operates with central locking as original. Considering the prompt service and efficiency of the job done it was a job done very well and highly satisfactorily. I give a 5 star for the job done.”

“The service I received from this company is second to none, I rang around several companies, to include, Vauxhall, The AA, and other independents Shock and horror, quotes from £800 down to £350 No messing about quoted £190 over the phone Turned up exactly on time, job done, and got me out of trouble at a fair and honest price Just adding this was over the Christmas period This company should make beer”

“Incredibly fast and efficient service, phoned them at 2pm on a Sunday with key problems for a Jaguar XF, needed an immediate replacement to enable me to work Monday (300 mile round trip), Engineer was out to me before 4pm, did me a brand new key and refurbished my old key at the same time, showed me what the issue was with the old key before fixing. All done by 4.30pm. This company is highly recommended, I am 100% happy with the service received.”
