Staff were helpful in returning an email very quickly, a chap called Dane. However the Votives seemed to be quite old stock even though the price on the Spiced White Cocoa Votives was high, the quality of the Votives were old with rather weathered wicks. Sorry for the 2 stars but I was disappointed overall about the quality of the Votives.

I ordered a soft toy for my Mum as she doesn't have assess to the internet. I definitely put in her details and address, and mine for the payment. This morning the toy arrived to me in Scotland and my Mum is in England, apparently the address does an auto correct with this firm if the addresses are different. Now I have to pay to send it to my Mum. Won't bother ordering from here again

Hello Vicky, thank you for your feedback and call earlier. Having checked your order details, unfortunately on this occasion the billing and shipping addresses are both the same, resulting in your order being sent to you ,instead of directly to you Mum , as you would have liked. When placing an order and entering the details ,the delivery address comes up first, then there a tick box that you can you use to type an alternative billing address in, this is not an auto correct system and can be amended before payment is made and the order is completed. On completion, if you have provided an email address you will receive an email of confirmation, at this stage if any of the details need amending, if you contact our customer service immediately we can of course change these for you. However, once the order is dispatched i'm afraid that it is too late as the parcel will already be on the way.We ship the orders in good faith as we believe that the information provided has been verified and is correct. I am sorry to hear that this may prevent you from ordering from us in the future, but we hope your Mum is pleased with your gift. Kind regards, Rebecca@customer service.

Ordered a Valentine card on the 9th of Feb and to this day it hasn't shown up . Contacted customer services who said the tracking stated that delivery hadn't been attempted yet , after it hadn't shown and left me to buy a crappy supermarket card , I had a moan and the purchase price was refunded . Wasn't impressed .

Hello, I am very sorry that the card didn't arrive. As this was sent out from our warehouse on 10th February it should certainly have arrived in time for Valentines day, we are following this non- delivery up with Royal Mail. I was able to order an item, but then later was told it was out of stock. So I chose an alternative, which still hasn't arrived. But instead, I've had a parcel meant for someone else!

I bought 4 squashy light up balls through Campus Gifts and one burst after only 15 minutes of use by a nine year old who did not put the ball under excessive pressure. Thankfully there were adults around when the ball burst onto the child's foot and the carpet. We can only be grateful that the contents of the ball didn't burst into the child's face and eyes. The supplier and manufacturer say that the balls are safe but we are not convinced. We are also told that the contents won't stain the carpet, which is not the case. We are still trying to remove the gluey contents of the ball from the carpet. Campus Gifts has offered to refund the purchase price and P&P but will not pay for the carpet to be professionally cleaned. We think these squashy light up stress balls should carry a conspicuous warning that they can burst or leak. Either that, or withdraw them from the market.

Received the Jellycat Llama stuffed in a cardboard box with no protective packaging It was in an awful state with manged hair and distorted from the way it had been packed.and could not be given to my granddaughter as a present. I had to buy one from a west end store and it was only £1.50 more.

I recommended a friend get the book ‘My Daughter, our story’ after I had bought it from Campus Gifts. I am kicking myself because she managed to get it for nearly 50% cheaper on Amazon! The price difference is huge and I feel really ripped off. The book is also slightly damaged and I have gone over the returns time now so I can’t do anything about returning it or getting a refund to get it cheaper on amazon. I am really annoyed as I thought this was a bespoke thing and could’nt have found it anywhere else.

I used the premium delivery service on an order over £40 so that I would receive my order before I went on holiday. It didn’t arrive in time. When I queried this I was told in a rather terse email that delivery time is from despatch not from ordering. This should be explained better on the website & customer relations needs improvement in communication!

Having checked with Royal Mail, i can confirm that delivery was attempted on 11th but there was no one at home to accept the parcel. I am sorry that you had not received your order, I can see from our notes that you contacted us on 18th November and we advised you that the delivery had been attempted on 11th November and your order was being held at a local Royal Mail Depot. As my 3 daughters had bought Diaster Design bags from you with which they were very pleased I ordered one as a present. However the first time I opened the bag the retaining loop around one of the buckles came unstitched. Not having time to send it back and get a replacement before Christmas I attempted to sew the loop back together myself. I contacted customer services about this but other than an automated reply have heard nothing.

I have ordered from campus gifts before and then everything was perfect.This time I ordered a make up bag to go with a toilet bag I had been bought as a gift.Delivery was £3.99!!!for an envelope that came through the letterbox!It took a week to arrive!I did ring after about 4 days to check that the order had gone through as I hadn't received confirmation of my order.I feel delivery was vastly overpriced.

Hello I am very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the cost and speed of your order. I can see that you ordered on 28th Dec 2016 and selected our standard service. Our Standard Service is Royal Mail 2nd Class post and we advised customers it has a 2 to 5 working day delivery window. Your order left us the same day it was received on 28th Dec and given the New Year Bank holiday should have been delivered by the 4th Jan 2017 at the latest. Kind Regards Kerry Charters

i was sent the wrong item ,, so i had to phone to get it sorted which they did send the right one then,, but said they cant replace any again, as if it was my fault , which i dont understand why she said that , made me feel bad,, it said on my paper work etc what was soppsed to arrive and didnt ,, thank you

I have never normally had a problem with Campus Gifts, but I experienced such a torrid time with the service and delivery of a scarf hanger, it has shaken my confidence in the company. Twice the scarf hanger was delivered broken, much to my dismay as it was meant as a gift for a relative. When I contacted them the last time, I was told that they would package the item with the amount of protection they should have done in the first place. This is something which they had lied about before, as the first two deliveries did not come with the amount of bubble wrap or protective cardboard they claimed them to have. However, the third and final delivery never came, with their attitude being that they might as well just refund me the money and give up on trying to deliver the product at all. It amazes me that anyone would have received a scarf hanger from them in perfect condition, seeing as Campus Gifts have decided to take such a lax attitude to protecting fragile items such as these.

My White Rabbit Ceramic Ring Holder arrive today. It took longer than expected, but then again I understand I live all the way in South Africa, which is fine. But the product has been damaged with a chip of the ear and a few imperfections here and there. Unfortunately, this item is no longer on their website (out of stock/discontinued?). Now I'm uncertain on what to do....

I ordered a purse and unfortunately the one that arrived had a slight fault so I had to ask for a replacement and return it. Unfortunately the complete wrong item arrived a couple of days later so I had to also send that back. When the correct purse arrived a couple of days after that, it also had dirty marks on it which I had to clean off. I also thought the stitching quality and the zip wasn't great considering the price of the purse. Although the purse looks lovely and mistakes were rectified quickly with polite staff, it was an inconvenience having to post items back, take photos of various items, email them back and wait longer for the product when i'd paid for delivery. I thought the company would have offered something in the way of compensation. So despite the gorgeous designs I probably won't order through the company again I'm afraid.

Ordered 2 diaries on the cut off date for Christmas delivery, double checked and website said they would be delivered before Christmas. They didn't arrive in time. Paid full price and full delivery charge for no delivery! Contacted customer service who offered no solution or refund, or even the 20% off they now have.
