Immerse Education is a two-week residential academic programme with a diverse and enriching curriculum, designed for 13-18-year-old students – providing a taster of what it’s like to study a subject at university level. Academic and Career sessions are carefully designed and taught by expert tutors in an optimal learning environment that stimulates academic enquiry. Our carefully planned schedule ensures that the programme not only exceeds the academic needs of the participants but also provides a unique experience of the university city through an abundance of extracurricular activities.

“It was an amazing experience. I have met amazing people and made friends that I will keep for the coming years. The mentors were very friendly and also extremely helpful with any questions you had. The academic sessions were very interesting as well, and challenged you at the same time. I just hoped my academic session was more about Medicine instead of Biology, as that is what I signed up for. All in all, it was an amazing experience that I will keep forever and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!”

“At first I was worried about spending two weeks with complete strangers doing university. However, as soon I was there I was put at ease by the mentors. The work was challenging but rewarding when you finally understood it. This was one of the best two weeks I’ve ever had, thank you Cambridge Immerse!”

“I took part in International Relations in Cambridge Immerse, and this broadened my perspective on this subject. I was taught by a PhD student about various topics related to this subject, with engaging examples and class activities. I was able to take part in a UN simulation at the end of the course, which helped me with my communication, teamwork and research skills. At Cambridge Immerse I became more independent, open-minded and responsible. My "mentor family" consisted of people taking different subjects from me and my mentor was welcoming and a great person. My favourite aspect of Cambridge Immerse apart from studying was making friends from around the world. I made new friendships and unforgettable memories while at Cambridge Immerse. I am still in contact with many of these friends after this course and some of these people are the best of friends I have ever made. Overall, I would recommend this course and I truly loved these two weeks.”

“Cambridge Immerse was amazing. I made so many friends, learnt new things, and fell in love with Cambridge. The mentors were fun and made sure we were always okay, that's why I got so close to them. The lectures were dynamic and I learnt a lot, it was easy for me to participate and I was very confident in my surroundings. The extra meetings we could ask for, (e.g. personal statement help), made me feel more ready and prepared for the years to come. Cambridge was one of the best times I've had, the games and outings were my favourite part, besides making friends for life.”
