“On time, and polite delivery. Good instructions. Good robust design. However, several of the aluminium glazing bars were severely discoloured. It seem to be some kind of rainbow discolouration. In addition ALL of the screw channels in ALL of the bars were undersized. Therefore the supplied screws either snapped or stripped the screw slot when assembled. I had to pre drill all the screw channels with a larger sized drill before assembly.”

Hi We are sorry that you were expecting something different from the aluminium system. The aluminium system is available so that you can paint it in your desired colour yourself for unusual colours. The rainbow effect you mention would be from the heat treatment and hardening of the aluminium for increased strength and durability. We are sorry to hear about this issue with the screw channels and will be looking into this as it sounds like the manufacturing tolerances of the bars and the screws will be at the extreme opposite ends of the aloud tolerances of each component.
