“I purchased cladding for the front of my house. I did my research and found C & A plastics, never used them before but wanted to use a local supplier to allow any additional ordering if required. I found the website very easy to navigate and found all items I required at a reasonable price. All items arrived within 5 days, I found the phone system a little frustrating with a wait prior to getting through to the operator but this could be due to lock down. When speaking to C & A I found them to be most professional and all items supplied were of a good quality. Now finished the cladding and it looks great with the help of C & A including the pdf file which showed me how to install it all. Would I use them again, YES wouldn’t hesitate.”

“I bought shiplap 2500mm x 150mm which was fine except it isn't as shown on the web picture. The sheets have holes all along the top edge so I went to B&Q and bought some trim to cover these holes on the top sheet. The reason I didn't go to C&A Plastics is because it was such a faff going through your web site then having to wait for a phone call (the next day) and get a booking time. On arrival a sign said use horn which I did but nobody came. My wife and I sat like a couple of lemons not knowing what to do. Eventually someone came out (after about 15 minutes) and asked if we were the 12 o clock booking which we were. After this in all honesty the guys were very helpful and all went smoothly but overall not a good experience.”

Hi Thank you for you feedback however the holes all along the top edge are there for fixing the boards with the fortex screws. This is exactly how it is designed and these are covered either by the next board being fitted so all fixing are hidden or by the use of a finishing trim which will also cover these holes. With regards to your comments about it being a faff I think this is just a level of impatience and sorry that you where kept waiting as we where probably busy when you arrived. There are several ways to order, one is online for collection, the other is to email us and someone will call you, you can also ring and someone could take an order over the phone or the other option is to turn up however if all the sales team are busy then you will have to wait as the trade counter only allows one person at a time to be severed to ensure social distancing and keeping our customers safe. We are unlike B&Q and other stores in that we run a national operation delivering all over the country so we are catering for 1000's of customers every month and have done through the whole of the lock down process and not simply a trade counter operation. I am sorry you feel our systems are a Faff however customer and staff safety are a priority for us which having visit B&Q once decided they don't take the same stance. We have been accessed by a third party to ensure we operate best practices and comply with health and safety and the knock effect is things are done differently these days and it does require people to be a little more organised however the vast majority of our customer like the collection process as it saves them time and their order is ready at a time which best suits them.
