“Sadly missed the very good mark due to selling me the wrong item despite me being in the show room a a long while - it was down to communication between what i needed and the sales chap who was serving me. I kept pointing to a displayed sample which sadly did not help !!”

“You sensibly queried my order as it did not make immediate sense. Actually it was OK as I explained I was going to cut glazing bars in two as only had 1.22 m (4ft) drop to cover. Started fixing panels but being very careful with cutting and sizes so I get it right. Never used this material before so cautious. So far so good! Many thanks Bob S”

“I bought a predator hand saw 14tpi the delivery was on time and very well packaged. I bought this item to cut 35mm polycarbonate sheet. I have not used the saw as yet but everywhere I looked could not find one of these hand saws. I would use this company again.”

“On-line ordering was straightforward but I would recommend new DIY purchasers get a hard copy of the C & A catalogue. It contains installation info and diagrams of the various glazing systems to assist newcomers in understanding the process of roofing with polycarbonate sheets. Delivery came within the 5 - 10 day period specified; acceptable but longer than I would have expected. The driver rang in advance as promised and was very helpful on arrival. My main criticism is about customer service and IT. An email asking specific points about installation was not answered well and basically I was invited to contact the manufacturers. The ordering software could not distinguish between billing address and delivery address and all further correspondence gave my billing address for both. I sent two emails to "Sales" asking for confirmation that the order would be delivered to the correct address but got no immediate response. Several days later I received an apology stating that my emails had been overlooked because they had been directed to a junk folder. It defeats me that any commercial enterprise dependant on sales and profit could have an IT system that treats customers emails as trash.”

Hi Thank you for the review and feedback. We also suggest receiving our free catalogue, although the website is very helpful with video and more, but certain information is clearer in one medium over another. It is an unfortunate situation that your emails went into a junk folder, however with our very publicly available email address we receive thousands of emails a day, and many of these are spam. Most systems use automated spam filtering based on many parameters including international white and black lists for servers that are updated regularly. Unfortunately it is a fact that in today society, as was the problem some time ago with spam postal mail (but now in much bigger volumes due to the low cost of send emails) a few genuine items of mail get put to the bin among the junk mail. This is a problem for everyone, for example many do not know that even Facebook has a spam mail message box that they refer to as 'the other inbox' which is extremely difficult to find and most people do not even know it exists. We always would recommend a follow up phone call to any email. We hope this helps C & A Building Plastics

“I placed the order on line and then spoke to the delivery department who arrange a convenient delivery time and date.Driver turned up on time, went through the ordered items and checked I was happy with all the various items. I ordered guttering and facia board for my house. THe price was very competitive and came in the longer 5 metre lengths making less joins and a neater job.”

“I ordered chartwell green trims , in 5 metre lengths, but apparantly, no driver to deliver, so i ended up haveing to get 2.5 metre lengths, by courier, also , 19 tubes of chartwell green silicone, which i have to say was rubbish, when it drys it cracks and does not look good on a brand new door or window frame,was not impressed at all”
