Disappointed by the brevity of the newspaper. Over £60 for effectively one folded sheet of paper. Should have been made clear that wartime newspapers were shortened. On the plus side, beautifully presented.

When someone gave me my news paper on the day i was born it was tabloid a bit more interesting than The Times but i do understand that some paper’s go faster than others. Thank you.

Although this was a paper from the day and said “ the Times” I was a bit disappointed as it wasn’t what I expected as it was a regional paper with no real front page to be impressed with. Maybe I should have looked closer.

Hi I'm sorry to hear you are not happy with your 1962 Times newspaper, it does say in the info that the Times newspaper didn't do headlines till May 1966 The Times newspaper is printed in Fleet Street London and do not print regional editions. When the Editor instructs articles to be removed or changed significantly, the entire newspaper is reprinted and distributed across the UK, however if required changes occur late in the afternoon, it is not logistically feasible to distribute these newspapers national wide and subsequently the reprinted newspaper is only distributed from Fleet Street to the local London boroughs and the newspaper is sub-headed 'The Late London Edition' however, the articles within the newspapers are national/worldwide news items and I would like to assure you, your received newspaper is a national newspaper.

Hi Susan Sorry you aren't happy with your 1961 Times newspaper but the Times didn't do headlines on the front page as we know them today till May 1966 as per the image on the website.

It wasn’t clear that the newspaper I was buying was in fact a late edition of notices.

Hi Sorry you to hear that you aren't totally happy with your 1947 original newspaper, the Times newspaper didn't start printing headlines like we know them today till May 1966 and the Late London edition The Times newspaper is printed in Fleet Street London and do not print regional editions. I thought the facts of the day were quite basic there could be more detailed information of the events of the day

The product was slightly disappointing, it was an A4 sheet with facts, but had hoped it would look more authentic. Over priced for what it is. Can’t fault the service/delivery.

Sorry to hear that you aren't happy with your original 1950 Western Daily Press newspaper, I can assure you that this newspaper is a full complete newspaper printed on that day. Due to the 2nd World War newsprint paper was strictly rationed up 1952 and therefore they were very limited on the pages they had available to print on which varied from day to day, sometimes as low as 4 pages in some case.

Delivery was quick which Is good as urgently needed something for a Golden Wedding. However, had to pay £9.99 delivery. The News Item did not bowl me over, it was ok, about average for the price. Some of the personalisation print ran over the news print.

A lovely gift for my husbands birthday. Arrived in time and in good condition. The only fault is that it said that my husbands planet was the moon, which is not a planet, so maybe checking the information before sending out might be an idea.

Hi Shelley, I assumed when Astrology was first devised they could only make out heavenly bodies. I have checked this out and it is correct, please see https://www.sweetyhigh.com/read/zodiac-signs-ruling-planets-080317 they also use the Sun!

Very confusing website. The service I received was extremely prompt but the item received (one newspaper and a folder in a basic cardboard box, was poor value. The newspaper itself was not in the condition I would have expected, compared to considerably older copies of the same newspaper received from other organisations. .

I really wanted the newspaper from the year my mother was born but unfortunately this wasn't available so I ordered a 'on this day gift certificate' the service was great but unfortunately when it arrived there was a big crease on the lamination which unfortunately ruined the appearance.

Disappointed that the certificate was very creased at one end. The newspaper looked good but where it has been folded across the middle it looked as though it was going to tear and go into a hole

the paper was a lot smaller and thinner than I anticipated, also I thought the folder was rather cheap considering the cost of this product I was disappointed.

Not the colour as ordered. Asked for Scottish version. Nothing Scottish in the content. Otherwise pretty much as expected.

Hi Thank you for your review, I am not too sure what you mean by not the colour as ordered? I've only ever supplied the burgundy presentation folder https://www.bygonenews.com/A-Certificate-in-a-luxury-folder/gift-details/214/ And the only difference between the English & Scottish versions is the FA Cup winners.

Received said item and although everything was in place and my friends name and date of birth were on the certificate I think the price of £23.99 is more than what the actual gift is worth. DISAPPOINTED.COM!!!!9
