About BUNAC:

Founded with mullets and a mission by students in the 60's, BUNAC has been running its legendary Summer Camp USA program since 1972. From coaching soccer to teaching crafts - it’s the chance to turn your passion into a paid job, impact the lives of children and young people, and spend the summer living in epic locations with the best 18-30s you’ve ever met. And because 5% of profits go to our Youth Access Scholarship Fund, you can travel happy knowing that BUNAC works for others too.

“My adventure with Bunac began at the end of May 2022. My company was not familiar with the post-Brexit sponsorship procedures and the timeframe was far too long for my internship which was due to start at the end of August. They then contacted Bunac and from there it was super efficient! I got answers to my questions very quickly, there was always a member of Bunac staff available to answer me. The platform is very simple to use, everything was very easy, I was able to put in all my documents, the company had a call with Bunac and I had just received my sponsorship certificate on 13 June 2022! What a relief! Today I am in London doing my internship, thank you Bunac.”

“Ben was really helpful and clear when answering any questions I had regarding the IEC visa process. He was also very enthusiastic and helped me to consider other options in the event that I fail to secure a ski season for Canada this winter. Thank you Ben!”

“BUNAC have been great! Really informative, incredibly helpful and always there to answer any questions I had. I would recommend BUNAC 100%! I had an amazing time at camp in New York State and am currently in San Diego having travelled to San Francisco and Honolulu, with trips to Vegas, the Grand Canyon and New Orleans before heading back to NYC and home. Thanks BUNAC!”

“The BUNAC care about my internship was outstanding - from the very first e-mail to the call I've done it I could feel that BUNAC was trying to truly understand how was my experience in the internship (which was great btw) and also how much I've enjoyed living in the UK. Really grateful for making me reflect on my learnings and providing me the safe space I needed.”

“I was very happy with how easy it was to get my second IEC visa for Canada with BUNAC. Help and advice was always just an email away, and I had my visa approved within 2 months. Couldn’t recommend them enough to anyone who needs a second visa or does not meet other entry requirements.”

“I have had a great time with BUNAC. They have been so helpful, informative and prompt with answering any questions or queries I had. Throughout the application process they explained in detail all that we needed to do for the process to go smoothly and now that I’m in the States, HAVING AN AMAZING TIME! (I’m currently writing this review whilst at a Yankees game!) I know they’re only an email away if I need help. Thanks BUNAC!”

“Applying for a working holiday with Bunac has been a very easy and stress free process. Ben has been particularly helpful. He firstly inspired me to apply to work in Canada and he has also been great at answering any questions that I have had.”

“I am yet to commit to a trip with BUNAC but after talking to Ben Alderson, a Work Abroad Expert at BUNAC, I felt more confident that this was the perfect structure to start off my gap year as a fresh college graduate. It seems to have all the tools to start off with a bang, connect you with people your age, and provide support for logistical issues. “I rang up and spoke to Ben and he was so helpful and friendly. No question was unanswered and I was so happy after the call. I wasn’t too sure where to start my travels and Ben guided me and told me about his personal travelling experience. I have now put my deposit down and can’t wait to start my journey. “I signed up with BUNAC about 20 years ago. Though that sounds like a long time ago, it still feels like yesterday. I landed in Australia; in Sydney, NSW from L.A. -- I couldn't be happier to write this review because the people I met at BUNAC were instrumental in one of my most significant life events. I went temporarily blind at a certain point in my journey to Syndey. Back then, I was naive and stayed at some pretty dank hostels not knowing beforehand just how bad they would be! The team at BUNAC checked up on me to make sure I was OK and went even further by helping me to find suitable accommodation in Manly. The team also helped me to vet potential long-term landlords, one of which became my husband. This year is our 20th year together. I'm here on the BUNAC website today because I'm actually writing a book! I hope it will be inspirational for young people. Whatever happens, please feel confident in working with the BUNAC team. I am confident they will absolutely do a stellar job in helping you to have one of the most memorable times of your life!”
