“Nearly 30 years ago I bought a glorious unlined angora gown in your Somerset shop. It has been a warm and faithful friend but recently became a little frayed, so I decided to take advantage of your sale.
I missed out on the paler colours so ordered the blue with red edging in the old style. As with all Bonsoir items, it was beautifully made, however, I found the colour a little sad, so upgraded to the new style in pink herringbone. Initially, I struggled with it as I found the silk lining cool when first putting it on, a sensation that I never had with my old gown. My husband said I should persevere as he had the same feeling with his at the beginning, so now I have got more used to it and am no longer looking frayed! Now, if you ever make another angora gown, I'd be first in the queue!”
