Billingham are a family owned company, manufacturing camera bags for the world’s photographers since 1973 alongside a range of leisure and laptop bags. All bags are made in the West Midlands area of England, a region famous for manufacturing. A core reason for Billingham’s longevity is the fact that from the start, the Billingham family were determined that their products would always be made to the very highest standards from the best available materials to provide high levels of protection for their valued contents.

A notable feature of Billingham camera bags is that they are made from a distincive 3-layer waterpoof canvas that never needs reproofing. They also feature genuine top grain leather and solid brass details.

“Billingham is one of the UKs premium manufacturers of bags and camera protection bags and it has held that reputation ever since its introduction in the 1970's. You only need to peruse some of the used or secondhand online retailers to see Billingham bags offered from pre millennium production to understand their longevity. The traditional Billingham camera bag range is a tried and tested design which has received tweaks on its design and materials over the years. Yet, Billingham have always reacted to market changes and carefully brought in new designs to cater for the ever changing world. This premium brand is still proudly made in England. When you purchase a Billingham you at not just buying a bag but a friend for life which will simply last and last for years.”

“I bought a replacement liner / insert for my original Billingham Hadley which I have happily used for over thirty years. Yes the bag is looking a little 'lived in' but spending a few quid has restored both it's protection it gives my camera and Mac Book when traveling and it has regained it's shape. I think that it is fantastic that Billingham support product well beyond what most modern day companies do.”

“I love this brand. They are always about the highest quality to every tiny detail. It is such a pleasure to deal with the customer support team. I have had a smaller billingham bag for more than ten years, and it is still very good and my favourite. I take it everywhere with me. My camera equipment significantly expanded over the years and I needed a new one. I bought the same but bit bigger. It is incredible. Spacious. Pockets and dividers all very well thoughtfully done. Still have this elengant look and still very practical. I would not change it for any other bags. Thank you for the quality.”

“My grandmother bought me a Billingham A3 folio bag for my first job in an Architect’s office back in the mid-90s. After thirty or so years of regular use, one of the press studs came lose. Billingham replaced it free of charge. A lovely bag and fantastic customer service.”

“This was the sole camera bag we took to Cornwall on our 77hour ' Rail in 35mm ' first clip. Sony A7CR with 35mm Zeiss plus a spare battery and a spare SD card. Cornwall being Cornwall was misty and damp and the bag was so easy to use. Wipe off the gear, pop it in the bag, all good for the next image/clip. As an RPS member, would I recommend to others for field trips using this type of camera/lens combination ? Its a ten !”
