About Billingham:

Billingham are a family owned company, manufacturing camera bags for the world’s photographers since 1973 alongside a range of leisure and laptop bags. All bags are made in the West Midlands area of England, a region famous for manufacturing. A core reason for Billingham’s longevity is the fact that from the start, the Billingham family were determined that their products would always be made to the very highest standards from the best available materials to provide high levels of protection for their valued contents.

A notable feature of Billingham camera bags is that they are made from a distincive 3-layer waterpoof canvas that never needs reproofing. They also feature genuine top grain leather and solid brass details.

“I recently purchased a small Billingham camera bag, and even though it doesn’t hold a lot of equipment, It is still quite a weight. Having this SP40 shoulder pad makes the world of difference, I am so glad I have it. Very well made and sturdy, I would certainly recommend the use of one of these to anyone.”

“I bought my 550 in 1983, it served me superbly up to 2016, a small problem with a top zip occurred, I sent the bag back to Billingham in 2017 for a refurbishment and relining update, three years later this bag just takes a beating and keeps giving fantastic service, I have never purchased anything that compares to the longevity, quality and craftsmanship heaped into this masterpiece. I have met many other owners of Billingham products, with not a bad word from any of them, the service from Billingham is literally, lifelong, 37 years and counting, oh! and I also own a 335 but that's only 11 years old..”

“Nobody ever regrets paying for quality! I purchased my first Billingham System Bag more than 25 years ago and it is still in very good condition. My second (smaller) bag was purchased some 15 years ago and with my latest purchase these bags should see me well into retirement!”

“The hadley pro 2020 is the best camera bag I have had in approx 50 years as a photographer. Three weeks ago we were 100 miles offshore Dominican Republic for a week photographing humpbacks, it was perfect size for small bag carry on on plane. First thing I did when we got mobile signal coming back was order another one for by wife for our 36th anniversary. What I should have done first was book an earlier flight back, as we are stuck here for the duration- tell the guys am currently battle testing the product ! Russell Bennett”

“recently i got my billingham hadley small pro and shoulder strap sp 40 in sage fibre nite / chocolate delivered : a very high quality camera bag it perfectly fits my nikon Z 6 with nikkor Z 24-70 s lens attached and spare batteries, extra xqd card and a nikon speedlight 700. I recently bought a peak design every day sling V2 6l but the billingham bag is soo much better: much easier access to take the camera out the bag and the quality seems also a lot better. I can highly recommend this bag for al who are looking for a high quality compact and good looking camera bag!!”

“The quality of the bag is impressive. I have plenty of room for my Fujifilm XT20 (with XT16-55mm lens attached) and my personal stuff. It rests easy on my injured shoulder, and I am looking forward to using it for my overseas trips when traveling is possible again. Have to mention that the front pocket is handy, I use it to keep items I need to access often. Thank you for sending the order out so quickly.”

“As with all things Billingham, these inserts are of the highest quality, reasonably priced-considering how well, and long, they will serve-and very useful. They are designed for the Billingham One, but serve well elsewhere, too. I will use them in the 555 bag I will be getting soon. I had planned on getting a 335 next, but recently decided on the 555 instead. Until the bag arrives, these inserts hold my gear, and store on a shelf. The inserts are as described, arrived in good condition, in a brief time, and are slightly deformable....so they can compress a bit for a tight fit, but still protect well.”

“Comfortable as a sling bag with camera bag on hips .i have a Rolleiflex and exposure meter and 120 film that fits very neatly with easy access...for this small bag .The handle is another simple feature and all pockets have an overlapping flap that prevents someone putting there fingers into your bag whilst using the Rolleiflex As a professional photographer of over 40 years this is my favourite camera bag particularly for street and landscape photography.”
