“I received an email to say I am no longer eligible for promotions, free bets or best odds guaranteed without warning. Therefore, I do not use Sportsbook anymore as a result. I also still receive emails about free bets so if I am not allowed to do them anymore can you please stop emailing me with offers. Thank you.”

“Your exchange deals is a vast range of markets. It's very impressive and I'm fairly sure is unrivalled anywhere. However, a few months ago, you have prevented me from using your sportsbook in full effectively reducing me to 2nd class status compared to other customers. No reason was given for this other than to hide behind your terms and conditions. I had done absolutely nothing wrong. For that reason, I have to rank your service as poor as that is how you have treated me.”

“I got banned from sportsbook making me ineligible your sports promotions. i wouldnt recommend the sportsbook on that basis.”

“Placed a bet on their new acca edge option which is a minimum of 5 selections. Basically if you get one selection incorrect, you get your money back. The only catch appeared to be that i had 7 selections which was about a 11/1 return, and with the acca edge it was reduced to 8/1, which is to cover their liabilities. One game was cancelled due to rain, anyone who bets knows the remainder of the bet will continue. All the games came in, the final game was 0-0. I did not even bother looking at cash out because, i knew I had my money back because of the acca edge option. The game ended 0-0 and when i went to see my balance, my stake was gone. Reason, acca edge bet voided. The information box that stated the deal, never mentioned no void option. But as soon as it comes to collect, they hide behind terms and conditions. Beware”

“Exchange is great, lots of markets, site works well, easy to navigate when you get used to it. Sports book was great until I was banned out of the blue with no explanation at all. That's not the way to deal with customers. I've heard lots of others have had the same treatment too. Great shame as I would have been using the sports book loads. If I was un-banned, the rating would be very good.”

“Beware of the timings shown when placing bets. I just saw a great price for a draw on a football match that was nil-nil after 92 minutes and placed my bet only for the timing then to revert to 54 minutes expired, then back to 92, then was suspended and then back to 54 minutes. I asked for a refund, here is Betfairs reply which you may think is fair. Just be careful is my advice! Selena: Hello welcome to Betfair you are chatting with Selena. How can I help? Me: Hi, I spotted that the Atromitos 0-0 AIK match was 0-0 after 92 minutes so I bet on the draw as it showed as 1.78. After placing the bet the elapsed time then changed to 56 minutes, then 92 again, then 54. Me: Its not just you, its happening elsewhere so some problem with timings. Can I have the bet refunded please Selena: I'm terribly sorry to hear that Richard but it when it comes to the Exchange especially, we cannot cancel/ refund bets, only re-settle since you're betting directly against other customers and not Betfair. We strongly recommend that our customers check alternate feeds before placing their bets however, as we receive these from third parties and there is a large warning about it on our site: Selena: Warning: Although the current score, time elapsed, video and other data provided on this site is sourced from "live" feeds provided by third parties, you should be aware that this data may be subject to a time delay and/or be inaccurate. Me: its not a live feed issue. You are broadcasting info saying 92 minutes elapsed when its only 54 minutes elapsed. Its not like a few seconds Me: this is misinformation which lead me to place a bet. Selena: I see where you're coming from but it's information coming from a third party, which is why we recommend our customers check other sources before placing their bets Me: OK, I shall try and cash out and leave reviews warning people about the information to prevent it happening again. Only a couple of quid as I am a small better but could cost someone a lot of money. Selena: That's of course your prerogative and I'm sorry there's nothing I can do for you in this case.”

“no issue at all with betting, but when tried to withdraw money, realised there was no way to do so. credit card not allowed to withdraw more than deposited, and bank account leads to a broken link.”
