“Kids enjoyed the bears, we had four children round for an after school tea party. They struggled with stuffing a bit and we had to do it but they seemed very happy with them and loved drawing on the T shirts. The bears were all a bit misshapen which didn't bother the six years olds but I think older kids might have been disappointed. Made the party memorable and I would recommend them.”

Hi Charlotte, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review after your tea party. We're glad the children had a great time with their bears and enjoyed personalising their own teddy t-shirts. We are however sorry to hear you thought the bears were misshapen, the quality of our bears and animals are something we're always really proud, so it's always upsetting to hear something hasn't lived up to our high expectations. Occasionally we have seen bears and animals that appear a little misshapen due to being packed in a box, however they usually "fluff up" easily when being made and if this isn't the case this time we're really sorry. Could I ask that you send us a picture illustrating the issue to enquiries@bemybear.com so we could take a look? “Really pleased with the bears except for one where the stitching had already come apart before we used it. Also out of your control but delivery was slow when I had paid extra for it to be delivered within a certain timeframe.”

Hi Claire, Thank you for taking the time to review Be My Bear and offer your feedback, we're pleased you liked our bears but would like to apologise for the issues you seem to have experienced. We pride ourselves on the quality of our bears, however as with the nature of plush we do realise sometimes issues can arise with stitching problems as you seem to have experienced. If you are yet to hold your party and could possibly take a photograph of the problem and email it over to enquiries@bemybear.com we should be able to get a new bear out to you. I've also had a quick look into the delivery of your order, and I think the issue with delivery speed may have been due to your order being placed on a Friday evening. Our working hours are Monday - Thursday from 9am - 5pm and Friday from 9am - 4pm, so orders placed after 4pm on a Friday aren't processed until the following Monday. This is explained on our delivery information page, but I am recommending that our company also look at our site in general to see if we can make this clearer for visitors in the future. We're thrilled you think our make-a-bear kits are lovely and of a great quality, it's something we're really proud of here at Be My Bear! With regards to your comment about the damage to our delivery box, thank you firstly for bringing this to our attention. All of the orders which are dispatched from us here at Be My Bear go out in pristine condition, so we can only assume the box was damaged in transit. We take such matters seriously, and will report this to our carrier. If any of the contents of the box were damaged, we'd be very happy to send out replacements, so please feel free to reach out to us on enquiries@bemybear.com if you need to. “We organised a Teddy Bear's Picnic at School as a fundraiser and the children absolutely loved it. The quality of the bear fabric is very good and all the accessories are lovely. I suppose, all i'd like to see in the future is to learn more about your environmental credibilities. No doubt this is becoming an important aspect of any fundraising activity we do and being able to explain to parents and children where the material is sourced etc.”

Hi Rebecca, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review for your Be My Bear order. We love that you're interested in our environmental credentials and wanted you to know that this is something we are currently working on for our website. Until the information is live and available on our website we just wanted to give you a little preview of what it will contain, especially if it is of use to the children at your school. The page will include information about: - Sourcing our teddy bear stuffing from companies which repurpose material destined for landfill including cutting room waste, rope waste, redundant yarn / fabrics and even ballistic armour waste and decommissioned armour panelling. - Our aim to minimise the use of paper in our office environment and how we only purchase recycled paper for office use. - How we switched our website hosting provider some months ago to the UK's first carbon neutral hosting company which has achieved the PAS 2060 carbon neutrality standard. The page will be quite exhaustive with a number of other items, but as mentioned this is just a quick preview until the full information is available to view online. Again thank you so much for leaving a review and we're thrilled your children absolutely loved our bears!
