“Bearings, it turns out, are overpriced, and do not appear to be of the standard I would expect from an SKF product. They also didn't want to comply with the distance selling regulations, until I made it clear that I knew what they were!”

“Ordered a V-Belt on Saturday afternoon and paid extra for next working day delivery, which of course is Monday morning. Only bought from you as you had the next working day option. It didn't arrive and I phoned your offices. It was explained to me that, because it was a Saturday, it wouldn't have arrived on Monday. But your website assured me it would. Your man on the phone said he will 'have a word' about the extra £20.00 I paid for next working day delivery, and to leave it with him. You took all the money, and didn't give me a refund for a service you knew you couldn't provide. Taking money under false pretences sums this up perfectly, as set out in the Fraud Act 2006. Feeling ripped off !!”

“My package came which I had been waiting for for around a week and when I opened the envelope there was nothing inside !!!I only wanted two pulleys but was desperate for them and now I’ve got to wait again!! Frustrating to say the least”

We have shipped the order on time (Friday) and you have received it the next working day (Monday), as outlined in our delivery terms. I understand that this may have taken you by surprise if you were expecting to receive it on the weekend, but unfortunately we couldn’t do more in this situation. We do not offer guaranteed weekend deliveries as they can be unreliable, causing more problems than they can solve. Nonetheless we are sorry to have disappointed you on this occasion and I hope this has not deterred us from using us in the future.

“Needed to replace 2 bearings, both FAG branded, a 6205 that was still good, made in Switzerland, and a 6203 which had failed made in Portugal. Chose to use FAG bearings again due to reading on the site "German-made FAG brand" thinking i'd be getting bearings made in Germany. Got the bearings, noticed that the 6205 looked to be cheaply made, much less of a shoulder on the outer race, but i needed the motor up and running again so i immediately fitted them to the motor, Turned it on and got a horrible growling sound, Disassembled the motor, checked nothing was catching, re-assembled it, same growling sound, did this a few times, ensuring the bearings were properly greased etc. Located the sound to the pulley end of the motor, it was the brand new 6205 bearing! Luckily it was the 6203 that had failed originally, so i pulled the new 6205 bearing off, and put the old one back on, and the motor runs quietly. Only then did i look at the bearing boxes and see that the 6205 was made in Portugal, and the 6203 was made in the Republic of Korea!!! Wasn't worth the hassle of trying to return them as i'd packed them with grease and the returns procedure makes out it's not worth it. i'll go back to using simply bearings as i used to.”

Hello Gary, Sorry to read this, 6203 unsealed FAG we have just investigated. We have sold so far this year 177pcs and up to now, your order they have gone out and been perfectly fine. FAG do have a plant in Korea, and they have had 10’s of thousands produced of this size at that plant. We are certain on this size most suppliers have a good chance of having the same bearing made from Korea. We also have in stock 6203-2RS C3 FAG and that plant is Portugal. They have plants all over the world, no matter what country, all made on top class machines to the spec they advise. We do have in stock, 6203-2RS SKF also, made in Italy, they have seals and can be easily popped out if you don’t want a sealed one, but having the 2 seals in may offer better protection. Waited in all morning so telephoned to obtain a tracking number. Was messed around and eventually established no goods available or despatched. Absolutely dreadful experience and will never go near this organisation again.”

“The adaptor i was sent was the wrong size but Bearingboys are insistent it is what i ordered yet it does not fit the other part i bought it to fit. Customer service does not seem to understand that if you buy two items with the samre dimensions you want them to fit together.”
