“Batteries worse than my old ones. Customer service appalling NEVER again. Tried to blame my mobility scooter however after buying another set of batteries elsewhere scooter works fine. Please do not waste your time and money using this company.”

“The Purchase I made resulted in near double the cost of same from a local trader. One lives, to learn”

We have tried to contact you direct but no reply, Doubt if you could buy two 18ah mobility batteries for £60 including VAT and next day delivery anywhere so perhaps you have confused us with another supplier, maybe you could alter the review and rating as its not representative of the excellent service we have provided you. “Battery I purchased doesn't stay charged, after using for a short time it goes dead”

“Non recycling box”

Think you have confused us with someone else, the Cardboard box it arrived in is most certainly recyclable.

“12 volt sealed lead acid cell lasted 1 charge and now will not charge to full capacity sadly they do not want to know blaming the cardboard box it came in that it drained to earth while in storage ... We all know these cells are tough and more reliable than others ...this was a dud and they know it”

“I do not recommend buying off this company. I bought batteries for my scooter I told them the make and model, and ask them if the batteries are suitable. 10MONTHS later they are failing, and they will do nothing except string me along asking silly questions. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OF THEM. Their customer service is nil. You can not speak to them on the phone about the problem, you have to reply via there ticket. I am disabled and now have to buy batteries for my scooter.I am disgusted.”

“Battery trader sent a battery that was not the one they advertised on their web page. They sent a returns number and the battery was returned, but the bill for £52. 68 has not been refunded to me. Now I have to ask my credit card company to give me a refund.”

“I ordered a battery which failed after 4 months. I returned it under the warranty,however battery trader wouldn't replace it until they had tested it.They would only send a new battery if I paid for it again.They said that they would refund the cost of the battery after they had tested the faulty battery. As I needed the battery for my mobility scooter I had to pay for the replacement battery.They agreed the battery was faulty but I am still waiting for my refund 2 months later & have had to contact my credit card provider to try to get the money back. Very poor service!”

“WARNING! I ordered 2 batteries on 10/10/2019. I was promised delivery in 3-5 days. 22/10/2019 I asked for delivery. The next day they informed me that they could not deliver until end of November, so i cancelled my order. Since then I had a lot om mail contcts with the company about refund. All I got was a lot of meaningless mails, but today, two months later, they still keep my money. Now they don,t even answer my mails. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY, YOU JUST LOOSE YOUR MONEY!”

“Ordered batteries on behalf of my elderly Mother for her mobility scooter but cancelled promptly the next day as I had ordered the wrong type (no items were shipped). We were promised a full refund on 8th October 2019 but still have not received the money (despite promises). Now forced to take legal action to recover the payment. The company seems to regularly prey on the old and vulnerable based on my experience and feedback from others.”

“I bought replacement batteries for my powerchair and they lasted little more than an hour from fully charged to empty. I'm supposed to be able to go for up to 12 miles on my chair, but with these batteries manage about 1 1/2 miles, which is useless. They lose 20% power on the first couple of minutes (according to the gunge on my chair).”
