The ham is top quality. Delivery was fast. The complimentary bottle of gin was missing unfortunately.

This has been a poor experience. The company were aware of a problem with PayPal orders on a particular day but failed to check oustanding orders. Having chased twice the order was eventally fulfilled 2 weeks later. The staff were very polite and apologised but I felt it was all really 'business as usual'. Have ordered from the company in the past. Produce is good but delivery has been slow before and I felt they weren't really to bothered whether I ordered again or not.

The steaks were dreadful quality for sirloin. Incredibly tough, no flavour. We feel badly let down, these are terrible. We are very experienced cooks, I'm afraid all 6 went in the bin. We shaln't be shopping with you again after this experience and suggests buys give your Galician Blonde sirloins a very wide berth.

I've ordered from Basco a couple of times, and can not fault the speed of their service and the quality of their produce. Their Secreto de Porco is my favourite treat - impossible to get in UK supermarkets / butchers.

Just received my order of octopus looks fab. Can't wait to put it on the barbecue. Typical quality Spanish foods from Basco, they never fail. The whole boned suckling pig that I ordered and had with my family gathering was superb, full on juicy and full of flavour. The process from ordering to delivery runs smooth and is expertly done, and the packaging is second to none. With ice packs and proper insulated cardboard boxes makes sure that their products sent to you arrive in tip top condition. Great food and top quality.

Best (cooking) chorizo I've ever had. Also great selection of other Spanish foods including jarred beans - all of great quality and at a good price. Customer service is real people who give real individual answers (rather than copy and paste junk so many use nowadays) and any issues are resolved relatively easily. I would really recommend this company.

I made an order to Basco on Tuesday May 6th 2025 (today is 13th). On Thursday 8th, DPD tracking system informed me that the parcel could no be longer delivered and I inmmediately communicated with Basco customer service. Only Friday 9th, 4.30 ish pm I was contacted and told that they will deal with the issue but that unfortunately there were no slots available during the weekend. Today, Tuesday 13th , I still do not know anything about my order even though i followed-up again with them on Monday.

Recent purchase fraught with issues: - Delivery service missed the delivery window by several hours resulting in defrosted product. - Free gift as an incentive for spending £150+ not included in the delivery. - After confirming that this would be rectified over the phone, I received neither the partial refund for defrosted product, or the voucher to compensate for the lack of the gift until I followed up twice via email. Really interesting and great products available on this website, but I’ve completely lost faith in their delivery and aftercare should things go wrong. Not the sort of service you’d expect from a website that offers such premium products, and honestly, not worth the risk and time involved in rectifying issues.
