“This is the second time I have used the services of the Baltic Travel Agency, and Daina in particular. Daina has been very helpful and efficient. She helped me plan two very wonderful tailor-made trips to Latvia to visit relatives and answered all my questions and took account of several changes I made to my itinerary. I feel a personal connection to the agency as a result and have recommended it to friends and colleagues and look forward to planning future grips with Daina and the agency.”

“We had a great time in Riga, the Hotel Justus was very central and convenient and we had a pleasant stay there. We bought tickets online for the ballet before we went £19.00 each just 8 rows back in the stalls. Good places to eat and drink everywhere and almost every attraction within walking distance of hotel.”

“My friend and I travelled to St Petersburg with Baltic Travel in April. Daina was fantastic. She patiently helped fill in the Visa Application over the phone. Set Itineraries. Made suggestions. Booked places of interest. Hotel was all we asked for and in a perfect location. Everything was made easy for us without having to look for hours on the internet and we sill had time to do our own thing. We shall definitely use this company again. A vey personal and good company to deal with.”

“The Finland glass igloo trip was fantastic & above my expectations. Though a bit physical, the Snowmobile & Husky activities were exciting & worthy experiences. Snow sceneries were beautiful and we had a very enjoyable trip overall.”

“Lena put together a wonderful anniversary trip for us, visiting Vilnius, Riga and Talinn. All the travel arrangements were flawless and we stayed in wonderful hotels in each city. All aspects of the planning were excellent and we would definitely recommend this company to others. We plan to return again sometime !”

“We needed a very bespoke itinerary which would enable us to be in a certain place on a certain day, [to commemorate our grandfather, who died in the war, in Norway]. The team at Baltic Travel company were very accommodating to our frequent changes to the itinerary. The whole adventure ended up being the trip of a lifetime. Beyond the eagles, whales, dog sledding, it was the quietness and vast expanses of ice, mountains and sea that was so breathtaking. We even managed a bit of skiing. I'd thoroghly recommend Norway, lufoten islands and getting Baltic Travel company to book it all for you.”

“My husband and I went to Iceland in March. We went on the Land of the Northern Lights tour and it did not disappoint! We had a fabulous time visiting all the attractions in Iceland which was amazing and to top it off we were blessed to see the dancing northern lights when we stayed in the little cabins in the south west of the island. Also our tour guide (Vally) was so knowledgeable and really made the trip due to all the historical stories she was able to tell. All in all we had an unique trip and I couldn't have asked for any more. Thank you. Samantha.”

“Just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for booking and arranging our holiday.we all had a fantastic time.we didn't manage to see the northern lights unfortunately,we took the trip on Saturday but it was a bit cloudy and then it was cancelled again on Sunday. Our other trips were great though,so many amazing sights.the hotel was really central too and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Thank you again for all your help in arranging our holiday,will definitely be recommending you to my friends and family”

“We had a fantastic experience with the Baltic Travel Company. Daina was incredibly helpful responding to our questions, helping to organise our unique travel itinerary either side of the week long tour in Russia. Her support during the visa process was absolutely fantastic! The tour itself was wonderful - so many famous sights and stories! The local guides were friendly and helped us over and above along the way. It was a great experience we will never forget and fingers crossed we can do another Baltic Travel holiday again soon.”

“We have only recently returned from a five day trip to Iceland - our first visit. Nothing was too much trouble for Inga. She offered us a choice of hotels - we stayed at the lovely Art Deco, Hotel Borg in Reykjavík - and requested a room with a view over the leafy square and a bath! She responded very quickly to any questions we had and kept us fully informed what would happen and when. Excellent personal service sums up our first experience with Baltic Travel - we are sure it won't be our last! Julie and Mark Fox”

“Our 5 night trip to Iceland including the Golden Circle and South Shore Adventure tours was fantastic. The planning and organisation was easy with Lena's assistance, and all the arrangements were as expected. Our hotel (Foss Hotel Reykjavic) was clean comfortable and quiet with good views and we loved the food and ambience in the beer garden (although all alcoholic drinks are expensive). Although it would have been possible to organise independently we were definitely pleased to have gone through Baltic Travel”

“Hi Lena, Hope you are all well! Got back from our absolutely unbelievable trip this morning. Just want to say a big thanks for sorting everything out,we literally couldn't have asked for more. It has to be the most incredible place I have visited...the hotel was fantastic and having the freedom with a car was perfect. Food was amazing and the sights were like nothing I could have imagined...although we had a bit of a scare when we got caught in a snow blizzard on top of a mountain!!! We are still alive so can't have been that bad.Ha. I think it ranks number 1 on my list and I've been to some quite cool places. I will not hesitate to go back and hopefully see the southern islands and mykines maybe in the summer as although we did quite a bit, I still feel like we only touched the surface. People are seriously missing out!!! The Baltic Travel Company is awesome. I'm sure I will be in touch soon.”

“After looking at several travel companies on the internet I was so pleased we chose Baltic Travel for our 4 day trip to Reykjavik. I emailed the company with ideas of what we would like to see and do in Iceland and Daina promptly replied with a detailed itinerary and costs. Everything from our flight boarding passes, trip bookings and 24hr contact numbers were posted to us a week before we left. We couldn't think of a single thing that they hadn't thought of . Our trip was amazing and not one single problem. I would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again and hopefully will be.”

“I was extremely pleased with this Northern Lights short break in Norway. Everything happened as it should with our transfers between airport and hotel, Northern Lights Chase and Dog Sledding. It was a great experience and the fact that an evening meal was included, as well as breakfast, in the cost of the hotel made this very good value.”

“Our short break to Iceland was organised very efficiently by Baltic Travel Company. We had vouchers to exchange for transport, hotel, excursions etc. Communication before the trip was excellent, with different options explored. The trip included a good mix of activities and free time to explore independently. I would recommend Baltic for this sort of trip - this was the second time I have used them.”

“We have just returned from "Winter Wonderland - multi activity holiday" in Finland and had a fantastic time. The hotel staff looked after us really well & the birthday cake for my husband was not forgotten. The activities were really enjoyable, the highlight for us both being the husky safari. The cross country skiing was timetabled for the second morning which gave us the opportunity to do more of it as the week progressed. The food in the hotel on the first three nights was really good and the buffet on the next three was good, the difference being that due to it being a buffet, some of the food was warm rather than hot. The staff even went to the trouble of making us sandwiches on the morning of our departure as we were going to miss breakfast. The hotel was clean and very comfortable, the perfect base for our activity holiday. Everything was seamlessly organised from star to finish with no delays or hiccups along the way. “We have recently travelled to Iceland on a short break booked through Baltic Travel Company. We were very impressed with the service we received from Daina and her colleagues at Baltic Travel. From our initial enquiry, through to our communications after our return, everything was dealt with promptly and efficiently. The tickets turned up earlier than the 2 weeks before departure. Our package included tours in Iceland with Reykjavik Excursions and these were very well organised, ran on time and had no problems even though we had to re-book some of them due to 'bad' weather. Unfortunately, we were unable to go on the Northern Lights tour as each evening the weather conditions were unsuitable, however, on our return we contacted Baltic Travel and they refunded the cost of this tour with no quibble and again very quickly. We chose to stay in the Best Western, a budget hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable and very well located to explore Reykjavik. We only have one negative about the hotel that the TV in our room did not work. The reception staff at the hotel tried to help and offered for us to switch rooms but as we only had a few days this didn't seem like a good option. This issue was not resolved but that is down to the Hotel Management and really didn't cause too much distress. We would highly reccomend using Baltic Travel Company for any tours to the Baltic area and should we decide to holiday in these areas in the future we would certainly be looking at their packages. Thank you Daina and all at Baltic Travel for a very well organised holiday.”
