“Our road trip around North Norway was very well organised by them - the flights, hotels, car hire, ferries. Very pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable staff, especially Saija our main contact at Baltic Travel. All the documentation sent to us prior to departure was complete - e.g. no missing vouchers. The holiday itself was fantastic - a 2100km circular tour starting and finishing at Bodo above the Arctic Circle and taking in the Lofoten Islands, Harstad, Gryllefjord/Senja, Alta, Honningsvag, Nordkapp, Hammerfest, Tromso, and Narvik. Ferries included the 3 hour crossing from Bodo to Moskenes (Lofoten) and 12 hours on the Hurtigruten taking us and car from Hammerfest to Tromso. All the hotel accommodation was of a good standard, mainly Thon and Scandic brand. Other accommodation of a more individual type included the quirky fisherman's cottages on the Lofoten Islands and the idyllic Hamn I Senja resort. Our trip took place between 5 June and 16 June 2017. We were so fortunate with the weather. We arrived in Bodo on 5 June in rain and grey skies and left there under the same conditions on 16 June. However the weather between those dates was unbelievable! Mostly wall to wall sunshine and blue skies, even at Nordkapp. Midnight sun most days and a max temperature of 24 degrees. Consequently we saw the magnificent scenery of North Norway at its very best - the snow capped mountains, fjords, picturesque fishing communities, the Arctic wilderness, plenty of wildlife especially reindeer. This turned out to be the holiday of a lifetime for me and my partner and even included a marriage proposal on a small boat trip under the midnight sun. Yes Norway is very expensive compared to the UK, however for such a truly enjoyable holiday experience it feels worth every penny and we hope to return before our pension pot runs out! “From choosing to booking the holiday to all travel arrangments, Baltic Travel were absolutely fabulous, Nothing was too much trouble. Daina should have a medal, she is so helpful. Unfortunately the Hotel Strand in Parnu wasn't fit for our purpose, however no problem for Daina; within 3 hours of contacting her (and on a Saturday) she had arranged for another hotel for us to stay in. This was such a relief and we are so grateful. (The complaint to the hotel has been dealt with separately, and is not linked to Baltic Travel Company in any way)”

“Travelling by coach from Vilnius, via Riga, to Tallinn was a wonderful experience and learning to say 'thank you' in three completely different languages within a week was educational. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and interesting, covering many aspects of the history, culture and development of the Baltic States. The Three hotels chosen for us were of very good quality particularly the Radisson Blu in Vilnius. Each hotel was located close the Old Towns of the capital's and there was a plentiful and diverse choice of restaurants. Our airport/hotel/airport transfers were smooth and on time. A splendid 8 day break and highly recommended.”

“The booking of flights and hotels worked very efficiently - it's helpful to have all hotel vouchers and boarding cards in hand before the start. The historic sites, for which we had the URLs, were very interesting - we particularly liked the Viking ship grave at Ladby. Roskilde was lovely and its ship restorations fascinating. Tollund man and (Elling girl) will stay in our minds forever. Jelling was a lovely spot and Århus most pleasant and welcoming even though we didn't have time to do the museum. I think it worth mentioning that a satnav is almost essential for finding your way round cities to the hotels. Thanks for all your help and advice which made it a very easy and smooth trip.”

“Excellent itinerary suggested with great comfortable hotels. Flight times organised so little lost time and good information as to what to expect on landing. Cant fault any part of the booking with great value for money, knowledgeable friendly staff and excellent communication. Would, and have recommended them to friends and family. Next year Greenland.”

“I should preface this review by saying that my holiday is set to take place in the new year, but I felt like I had to write a review now with how excellent the Baltic Travel Company has been. They have made this holiday planning experience an absolute breeze and have been quick to respond to any needs or queries I might have. A big shout out the Lena, who has been my travel agent for my holiday. She is lightning fast at replying to emails, is very personable on the phone and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. 5 Stars. I will be using the Baltic Travel Company again!”

“My daughter and I had a fantastic holiday in Iceland. We were lucky with the weather as well as it poured with rain all the way to the airport on the last day but was mostly sunny the rest of the time. Baltic travel made it all really easy and I was expecting two single rooms to be more trouble than it turned out to be and the surcharges were not as criminally high as some other operators we looked at. The hotel was fine and very central. All the documents came through by email in good time and all we had to do was turn up. Brilliant. I will definitely book with Baltic again and can't recommend them highly enough.”

“I've travelled to Scandinavia twice with Baltic, the first time on a 'ready-made' trip to Norway, the second a tailor-made holiday to Finland and Sweden. From first contact with this company, you know that you're a valued customer. Emails receive an extremely prompt reply and if the person dealing with your arrangements is away, one of her colleagues will step in. When you phone Baltic, it's clear that they really care about helping you to have a great travel experience. Once your trip begins, arrangements go like clockwork. If there are any unforeseeable problems along the way, these are resolved swiftly. We had an issue with our Stockholm hotel which we resolved ourselves whilst there, and as soon as we alerted Baltic on our return home, they contacted the hotel management on our behalf. I have complete faith in this company, and would strongly recommend travellers to put themselves in their capable hands.”

“This short (4 night) Northern Lights, Volcanoes and Glacier Lagoon holiday was absolutely excellent. Cannot fault anything from the accommodation and meals to the great tour guide and driver. The second day in particular was just about perfect - glaciers, lagoons and icebergs, the like of which I had never seen, capped off with a spectacular Northern Lights display. A wonderful, unforgettable experience and all organised as smooth as clockwork.”

“A very well organized trip to a great destination. Lots of things to see and do for both me and my son (age 11). We would do it all again tomorrow and still find more interesting people and places to meet and see. Golden Tulip hotel was lovely in Krakow with great staff. Hotel in Zakopane needed to sort out housekeeping which was poor but facilities were great. We would certainly book with Baltic travel company again. Fascinating destinations and very well planned.”

“The Baltic Travel Company suggested a great combination of events for our week in Poland. They provided all necessary information in a clear and concise way and paved the way for a great cultural and sporting time visiting Krakow and Zakopane. “We had a wonderful holiday to Norway, everything we wanted to do was organised well which removed any stress allowing us to enjoy our holiday.
