“Arrived quickly - bought as a gift for 40th birthday - so unable to see the item properly as the individual envelopes are sealed - however I loved the concept and to buy a gift with a difference - I am sure my friend will love it :)”

“I’m sure this would have been a lovely gift but my package was left on the floor in a communal post room and was then taken. When I contacted a year of dates they said it was nothing to do with them and that I had to contact the courier. Trading standards states it is down to the merchant to investigate and then provide a replacement/refund but they didn’t even bother, they just fobbed me off”

Hi, I'm sorry you felt this way, I have checked back through our emails and can see that we asked you to speak to the concierge and delivery person to see if they could help. As it was the 13th February we said we couldn't get one to you a replacement in time for Valentine's Day and for that we apologised, We then asked you to let us know what came of the conversations in the building and we'd pick it up from there. As we necer heard back we could only assume from this you had found it. I'm sorry if this seemed like us fobbing you off, but the feedback from you - that we can't get from the concierge ourselves would have allowed us to continue the investigation, as we offered to do post Valentine' Day.

“I wasn't sure how much we would enjoy this when I bought this as a gift for my husband since the target audience seems a fair bit younger than our (very) late middle-age, but we have really enjoyed it. The instructions leave a lot of room for adaptation to one's budget and lifestyle and thinking together about how we're going to meet the challenge is a large part of the fun!”

“With young children sometimes time for ourselves goes out the window. I saw these and after reading the reviews thought it would be a great way for us to spend more time together without too much trouble and expense. The box was easy to order and personalise, I chose the Surprise Addition. It arrived in great time and was nicely packed in its box. The cards inside are a mixture of colours and we dived in at the weekend to pick our first date. My hubby is a musician and we often spend evenings apart so we were very excited to see that our first date was 'A Live Music Night'. We popped down to one of our local pubs and watched an amazing friend play some fantastic songs both covers and originals. What a great night out and I would thoroughly recommend A Year of Dates. We can't wait to see what our next date is.....”

“Fabulous! I saw this product on Facebook and thought what a fantastic idea and perfect gift for my son’s first wedding anniversary (paper!). Then a cheaper version popped up and I was suckered in, save a few quid just before Christmas and all that malarkey. So, having been screwed over by the counterfeit product (box full of empty envelopes, huge mistake), I bought the genuine article from the genuine company and my goodness what a difference! The package was delivered the very next day and when my son and daughter in law opened them, both commented that the quality was exceptional. They were actually excited to make a start and read down the categories, and selected their first “date” for the year. And they’re planning to use the instant camera that my son had bought his wife for Christmas, and scrapbook their year of dates as a permanent record. Moral of the story… buy from these people, their story, their service and their product quality is second to none! If you think you can save a few quid - you really should spend the difference and invest in quality from the beginning!”
