“Hi there, Sadly I ordered the year of dates for a Christmas present and Royal Mail were due to deliver it on Monday. I live in a ground floor flat and they said they left in in an outside building when I don’t have one. I looked everywhere for it but nowhere to be seen. I’m really gutted. I’ve made a complaint to Royal Mail but heard nothing.”

“I cannot fault the product, very well made, arrived on time and well packaged. I brought this as an extra gift for my daughter and son in law. Unfortunately, I did not read anywhere on the website that it states in the "instructions and welcome card" the word "us". It is clearly aimed at couples buying for each other. It doesn't feel suitable anymore to be given by me. And I would have to explain to them that I will not be joining them on their Dates! But as I say, I cannot fault the product.”

Thank you for your lovely honest reply. With regard to the leaflet please don't worry - when they read it they will read 'us' as the couple, we appreciate when you read the text the 'us' sounds like you are involved but when they read it this won't be the case. We have been using this copy for over 9 years and not had any issues, it has been gifted by someone to a couple in this way thousands of times. I hope that makes sense!

We're sorry for any confusion but to avoid mixing up the gift notes these have to be printed with the order paperwork, it is a free service and not advertised anywhere as being part of the box or gift wrap. Happy dating

Hi Caroline, So sorry you are disappointed with your order, we take every comment as a way to improve but in reality we haven't increased our prices in over 5 years despite every element costing us more. Every review has a huge impact on a small business and if you are unhappy with the gift you are welcome to return it for a refund to the address on the packing slip.
