An excellent service, recommended by a friend. I was unsure of buying a car, over the internet, but it could not have gone better. The staff were extremely helpful, when I telephoned to ask how the process worked. I did not receive a bid under the stated price, which is the usual outcome, as the car I chose, the S-line Plus, is not a common model. The nearest bid was £250 over the stated price, so Auto e-bid reduced their fee by £250. You cannot ask for better than that; this is after they contacted the dealer and tried to get the price lowered. I still saved £7000, on the price quoted at the Audi dealership. I highly recommend using Auto e-bid, it is what I will be doing in 3 years time.

Worked as promised but didn't really get into a bidding war as only 1 bidder but they lowered the purchase price so all worked out very well and I was very satisfied with the results!!

As discussed on the phone my comments are as follows. Your sending out for bids resulted in a very acceptable bid to me within the timescale that you set. The successful bidder contacted me by email almost immediately and successfully answered all the initial enquiries that I had. He gave me an approximate date for delivery and payment of deposit was undertaken with no problems. I received a much earlier delivery date that expected. Delivery, inspection and talk through on the new car from the supplier was fine and final payment was made without problems. All in all a very slick and professional operation and I am very pleased with the car. Well done all. John Bowes

This is a great service. I wrote a couple of emails and had a couple of phone calls. A month later my new car arrived on my doorstep and I'd saved £5k. Brilliant

Did what it said on the tin. Discount slightly less than led to expect but still better than I could find elsewhere. Car delivered within promised timescale (long) and all in perfect order. Recommended.

I was very happy with the service provided. My only grouse was that it took one month for me to receive the payment for the part exchange of my previous car

Had a great experience with AutoeBid. It's been a long time since I've bought a brand new car (Peugeot 206 in 2003) and I was keen to get as good a deal as possible. I spent a lot of time looking at all the different purchasing options and came across AutoeBid as a possible option. The site was fairly basic but had a lot of information about exactly how the process worked. I was able to specify exactly which options I wanted on my chosen car (Seat Alhambra) and given a "maximum" price. If I chose to proceed then car dealers from around the country would bid to sell me the car in a reverse auction. I was slightly concerned that I'd have to pay a fee to AutoeBid for the auction but this fee was only payable if the terms of my auction were met 100%, the price was equal to or lower than the maximum price, and the quality of the dealer was good enough. It may sound strange, but the size of the discount that AutoeBid suggested I would receive made me more suspicious than not that this was a scam but all my investigations of the site and the company suggested otherwise. They also were able to answer any questions I had very quickly. I finally bit the bullet and started the auction process over a period of seven days. Nothing happened for several days and then I got my first bid but this was way over the "Maximum" price that I was expecting. Then there were no other bids placed until a few hours before the end of the auction. Cue much nail biting. Fortunately, shortly before the end of the auction a flurry of bids came in for the car, including one that was £50 below the maximum price and from a five star dealer. I accepted this bid and shortly after was in contact with the dealer. After confirming the exact options we required and paying a deposit, the sale was confirmed and we just had to wait for the car to be manufactured. One of our requirements was to wait for the new registration plate in March. We had to wait an extra 10 or 11 days (after 1 March) for receipt of the car just because of the sheer volume of other customers that wanted to do the same thing. However, we received the car in spotless condition and with 250 delivery miles on the clock (it came from the other end of the country). The driver even took it to a local car wash to make sure it was spotless when delivered. It took another month or two to receive the registration documents after receipt of the car. So, we managed to save over £8,000 and therefore got a brand new car to our exact specifications that was less than the price of a 1-year old equivalent, and also got great service from all involved.

You could probably get the same deal, if you are a skilled negotiator, highly resilient and want to spend a day or two of your life ringing virtually every dealer in the country to get the best deal. Or you could get Autoebid to do all the work for their fee? Your call? I am all of the above and still chose Autoebid given the value I place on my time and the efficiency of their process. Plus the bonus was I spoke to them on Friday and managed to pick up my wifes new car the following Thursday. Well done Ros and thankyou. All the best Matt F.

I decided to buy my wife a new car. At first I was a bit apprehensive about buying a car through the internet, but after reading various reviews from established newspapers etc. I took the plunge and ordered a Skoda Yeti 4WD Automatic through Autoebid. The process was quick and easy, even for me , being computer semi- literate . Autoebid gave me a quote very quickly and I contacted the dealer , who I found courteous and informative . The car was delivered to my door, from the factory on a trailer, before the predicted supply date. I made a very considerable saving, (my local dealer had been disappointing to say the least). Overall I found the experience very easy and rewarding. I will certainly use Auto e bid when I replace my Mercedes.I have since recommended this service to friends who have been similarly impressed. I bought a SEAT Leon FR from Autoebid this year after researching several websites. No one else could match the price I was offered after I registered with the site and paid the initial fee. I saved several thousands pounds on the list price including all the options. Communication was excellent and everything was handled in a polite and rapid manner from the wining dealer. I was a bit weary when transferring the final payment before the car was delivered to me but everything went smoothly. I would definitely recommend the service and I would use again for my next car purchase.

A very easy and straightforward way to purchase a new car. Target prices were very competitive and where achieved, but in my case without any further discount. Car was available earlier than required and delivered to the door without problem. Would recommend.

If you enjoy traipsing from showroom to showroom, haggling over price, and worrying about whether you've really got a good deal, then don't use Autoebid. For the rest of us, I really can't see any reason *not* to use AutoeBid. My experience was exactly how buying a new car should be – an unbeatable price with no stress or hassle. Andrew, who handled our transaction, was courteous and professional throughout. The amount of communication was just right; just as the tentative delivery day began to approach and I was starting to think about whether to send an email asking if there was an update (to make sure I'd have time to move money into my current account to pay) Andrew emailed me with the confirmed date, and just over a week later the car was on our driveway.

Bought a car online about 10 years ago when it was a very new concept. Autoebid seemed like the obvious progression, reverse auction, makes it unique compared to other sites so figured I have nothing to lose just set the total to £50 below the other best option and I'm a winner regardless. Got an excellent price, car took 12 weeks as factory order with extra spec, Autoebid and the dealer were excellent and checked on the transaction and offered personal aftercare. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, paid deposit direct to dealer on a credit card for S.75 protection on the whole transaction, I needn't have worried!
