“Well sadly this has arrived at the wrong time for me. We went to Anderson’s instead of our usual local go to for their presence. First dealings were good .however we have issues with the charging points in our sofas and since June we have no outcome. When your sales director asks us it a digs you wanted or a phone charger very poor show . We will see but right now I would not be rushing back or recommend.”

“I'd like to state that we have had excellent service previously when purchasing furniture, flooring, carpets and blinds from Andersons. However, this time, it was disappointing, as the wrong flooring was delivered. I can't understand why, as I asked how the borders would work with the 2 showers and the herringbone design - we'd had the large square herringbone sample home with us - and was told that the borders wouldn't work with herringbone as the bathrooms were too small an area for a border. I was told, when booking a fitting date, that the fitter(s) would be with us all day Monday and finishing on Tuesday and was charged accordingly in advance. On the day of fitting, I accepted the (wrong) flooring for the 2 bathrooms upstairs, as it looked ok with the carpets. Ian took the herringbone style in with him on the Tuesday for the gf cloakroom as it was in stock. We were charged an extra £246 on the day for additional labour for the herringbone in the cloakroom. The fitters left at 2.30 p.m. They were very tidy, pleasant and did a lovely job.”

“Staff in store were helpful. Bought two shelving units, really pleased with the look and quality of them. Was misled about how long units would take to arrive. Was told four weeks, receipt said 4-6 weeks, arrived 8 weeks after ordering. Also, there was terrible communication about getting the units delivered from the store to my house. I had three separate phone calls with different delivery times and was assured that I would be phoned half an hour before they arrived. On the day, they arrived in the morning, not the afternoon as I had been advised, and I did not receive a phone call half an hour before delivery. Very poor.”

“You could start by spelling my name correctly ! The staff in the store are friendly and helpful. The store is very well presented with a great choice of goods. The cafe is great as are the staff who serve you. We ordered a dining table and chairs in Nov 24 and were told it would take 12 weeks for it to be available for delivery. We contacted the store at the end of January and were told it was in stock, so why had they not contacted us to let us know it was available for delivery ? As we were soon to go on holiday we agreed that we could wait until we returned. I called the store after we returned and they told me delivery would be aranged and we would be contacted by their delivery company, that was a week ago and I have had no contact as yet.”

“I was disappointed with my order of a Hypnos bed. I had made it clear that I wanted a lower one than one I already had. A suitable base was chosen with four drawers but perhaps I wrongly presumed it would have a skirt. Mattresses were suggested for comfort and one was duly chosen . When it arrived it was extremely deep which resulted in a very high bed again. Exactly what I didn’t want being 81 and 5ft 2ins. My initial request had become surplanted during the purchase process.”

“We bought a carpet with no issues. The carpet fitter was quite rude saying we had the measurements too tight. We simply measured the size of the room. The carpet fitted perfectly. Won’t use Andersons again.”

“Advert clearly stated two pillowcases in the description and only one was sent. When I contacted Andersons, I was told that this is a mistake on the website and I could return if I wanted to not really what I expected a little disappointed if I’m honest. Lovely Ted Baker case, but did expect two.”

“Bought bedroom furniture from you which was marked in various places, after inspection it was arranged for someone to come and touch up the marks but unfortunately he left some of the marks on the edge of one of the bedside cabinets. Just got fed up and left it. Your staff in the shop were very helpful at the time of purchase.”
