“AOFM Dubai Makeup Academy is an outstanding place to learn professional makeup artistry. The academy provides high-quality training with a perfect balance of theory and practical sessions. The instructors are extremely skilled, supportive, and always ready to guide students with patience and encouragement. The learning environment is very professional, clean, and well-organized, which makes studying comfortable and motivating. The academy also provides excellent products and tools for practice, helping students gain real industry experience. What I loved most is how they focus on building confidence and creativity while teaching proper techniques. From basic skills to advanced looks, everything is explained clearly and in detail. I truly feel more confident in my makeup skills after training here. I would highly recommend AOFM Dubai Makeup Academy to anyone who wants to build a strong career in makeup artistry. It is definitely worth it! And a special thanks to my mentor and teacher Valentino Jasmin, he is truly an exceptional makeup instructor and a complete inspiration. His teaching style is clear, patient, and full of passion, making every class enjoyable and easy to understand. He explains each technique in detail and always makes sure every student feels confident and supported. What makes him special is not only his professional knowledge but also his motivating personality. He encourages creativity, corrects mistakes gently, and pushes students to do their best without making them feel nervous or judged. His demonstrations are flawless, Learning from him has been an unforgettable experience, and my skills have improved so much because of his guidance. “After extensive research into leading makeup academies in London and abroad, I chose to complete the 9-week Master Program in Professional Makeup Artistry and Hair Styling at AOFM’s Dubai branch — a decision I am extremely glad I made! This extensive program exceeded my expectations, offering a comprehensive and diverse curriculum covering hair styling, bridal and glam makeup, SFX, theatre, runway, airbrush techniques, and more. I had the opportunity to learn from highly skilled, internationally renowned makeup artists with extensive global industry experience. The course was demanding and required focus, discipline, and commitment, but it was equally rewarding. You are really encouraged to be creative and experiment and find your own artistic style. Beyond technical training, AOFM provided invaluable preparation and counsel in relation to entering the professional makeup industry, including guidance on content creation, personal branding, and the importance of networking. I also gained hands-on industry experience as part of the AOFM backstage team for the Runway by Minaaz (Jan/Feb 2026), led by lead makeup artist Mandy Gakhal. I was supported throughout the duration of the course by the wonderful dedicated core AOFM team (Jana, Val, Amanda and Sarah), and I continue to benefit from the after-care and industry opportunities. I now feel well-equipped and confident to embark on my career as a professional makeup artist. I would highly recommend the AOFM academy to anyone who is passionate about makeup - my only regret is not completing the course sooner!”

I didn’t just learn makeup here — I also became more confident and creative. All the instructors — Nikki, Emily, Karla, Neelam, and Betty — were highly experienced and brought something unique to the table. I learned so much from each of them. And the two mentors who spent the most time with us and truly guided us throughout were Vale and Amanda. Vale is such a dedicated and passionate person. No matter how small a doubt I had, he was always quick to come over and explain it clearly and patiently. His teaching style is calm, detailed, and truly inspiring. More than just a mentor, he felt like a friend — such a funny, kind, and lovable person. His presence made every class enjoyable and full of positive energy. Amanda is also an incredible mentor — she always encouraged us to give our best and never held back from sharing her knowledge. I also want to thank Sarah, who handled the admission and admin work so smoothly. From the first day, she was helpful, kind, and supportive. “I recently completed the Pro - 8 week course at AOFM and I must say it was incredible experience. From start to finish the course exceeded my expectations and provided me with skills and knowledge to pursue career in make up industry. The instructor/ teacher at the academy were exceptional. They were not only highly skilled and knowledgeable in the field of make up but they were also passionate about teaching and guidance their students especially Valentino. He always there whenever you need help all the way through and also sweet Sarah on administration side. The curriculum of the course was well structured and comprehensive. It covered wide range of topics from hairstyling, skincare, foundations, bridal, glam, editorial, creative, SFX and many more. We were given hands on practical exercises to reinforce our understanding. The academy also provided the necessary makeup products and tools ensuring we had everything needed.
