“I had an amazing experience studying at AOFM Dubai. From day one, everything was so well organized, and the whole journey honestly exceeded my expectations. The instructors were not only talented but also really supportive and they shared so many tips and tricks from their own experience that helped me improve my skills so much. What I loved most about the course was how hands-on it was. We got to practice every day, which made learning so much easier and more exciting. They taught us everything from the latest trends to editorial makeup looks while giving us a real insight into what it's like to work as a freelance makeup artist. The whole environment was professional yet super friendly, which made me feel comfortable and confident to ask questions and explore my creativity. I'm so thankful to have been part of AOFM. “The Foundation course at AOFM completely blew my mind! I’ve been working as a civil engineer here in Dubai, but for the longest time, I’ve been wanting to switch careers and follow my passion for makeup artistry. After months of obsessing over AOFM’s website and exploring other makeup schools in Dubai, their course curriculum is what finally convinced me to take the leap. And wow—it overdelivered in every way possible! I want to give a special shoutout to the amazing instructors at the course. Absolute legends! Each one is a true master, with decades of experience and varying techniques that I soaked up like a sponge. Special shoutout to Amanda, THE. SASSIEST. INSTRUCTOR. EVER. I love you, your no-nonsense lectures, and your iconic lipstick! To Roxana and your open-book kind of makeup kit, thank you! I wanted to hug you because you're so graceful and lovely, but I was too shy (next time, Roxana!). “Joining AOFM was one of the most meaningful decisions of my life. Makeup has always been my passion, but when I joined the course while pregnant, I had so many doubts. I almost gave up—but Sara changed everything. She cared for me like family, reassured me with such kindness, and promised I’d be supported every step of the way. And she truly kept her word. I’ll never forget her.Every day at AOFM felt like excited. The environment was warm, friendly, and full of encouragement. “AOFM has a great environment—clean, organized, spacious, and a great variety of brands. Everything we needed was provided, and I liked that we got to practice using different hair tools, products, and makeup brands. Different instructors taught each topic, and I learned useful techniques from all of them. Special thanks to Valentino who is my favorite instructor. He is highly skilled, very detailed, and patient when giving feedback. He can do all types of makeup, and I learned so much from him. The school didn’t just focus on makeup skills but also on professionalism. We learned about personal hygiene, how to dress properly, time management, and discipline, which are important qualities for success in the industry. AOFM is an excellent place to expand your knowledge and build a career in freelance makeup. By the end of the course, I had a newfound appreciation for makeup artists and felt even more motivated to pursue this path. “I joined the feb 2024 Dubai Branch …. 6 weeks course and absolutely loved it there. “I recently completed my 6-weeks artistry course at AOFM, and it was truly a life-changing experience. From the moment I walked through those doors, I knew I was in for something special. As an MUA with previous experience, I thought the course would be repetitive at the beginner level, but I was proven wrong. Every step of the course taught me so many new things, from starting to the end of the course. I learnt a lot of new techniques that I'm definitely gonna apply to mine. The journey wasn't easy, it got very challenging at the end but it only pushed me to be better, and I’m so grateful for the way the mentors guided, supported, encouraged, and pushed me to be the best at my work. They will forever be a big part of my journey. Initially, I thought I’d feel alone, but I ended up making friends who became like family. “I had an incredible experience at AOFM in Dubai! The eight-week course was extremely thorough, covering a wide range of skills from beauty makeup to SFX, theatrical, and bridal makeup. The instructors were highly knowledgeable and provided hands-on training that was invaluable. What sets AOFM apart is their aftercare program graduates can return anytime for a free refresher course, which is a fantastic opportunity for continuous learning. We also took a separate hairstyling course, which included vintage styles and blow-dry techniques. Additionally, we got to meet different freelance makeup artists, each with unique experiences and styles, which was great to learn from. You don't need to bring anything with you to the school they provide everything. I highly recommend AOFM for anyone serious about a career in makeup artistry!”

“I graduated from AOFM, studying the academy's Total Pro course at the London campus. The course was concise and taught by working makeup artists, which makes the course really relevant. I have been given the opportunity to lead shows in the major fashion capitals with AOFM; London, Milan, New York and Paris. I even recently had a work opportunity in Morocco! The school has provided me with opportunities for growth and has also enabled me to be part of and to grow my makeup family. The other makeup artists you get to meet are incredible, and to learn from each other is really special. The school promotes diversity and I am really grateful for the friends I have made from all across the globe 🌎”

“I took the AOFM Total Pro Creative course at the London campus, and it was a fantastic experience that comprehensively covered all the key aspects of freelance makeup, in addition to modules on hair styling and nails. We had a wide range of instructors with decades of experience between them, some of whom had personally worked on some of the world’s most famous faces. The variety and professionalism were highlights, along with the beautiful studio in the heart of Shoreditch and an intimate class from a broad range of ages and backgrounds. Since graduating from AOFM, I’ve had so many incredible backstage opportunities. I’ve assisted backstage at both on-schedule and off-schedule shows at London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. I’ve worked on graduate showcases for the Jimmy Choo Design Academy, assisted with makeup for the launch of a Love Island winner’s fashion brand, and even got to go on a whirlwind, five-day trip to Marrakech for a top UK fashion university, meeting amazing people and talented creatives along the way. I treasure not only the glamour and fun, but also all the amazing people you meet along the way, including fellow makeup artists, hair stylists, models, designers, photographers and others. Through various people on the AOFM team whom I’ve got to know, I’ve also had the opportunities for external work, from assisting with shoots for renowned photographers and working backstage at charity fashion shows to flexing my creative muscles with face-painting and body-painting. Each job, from the big to the small, helps build my confidence and gets me closer to my goal of supporting myself full-time in the varied and exciting world of freelance makeup.”

“After a thorough research I decided to join Aofm to start my new career as a Makeup Artist. I did the 5 week course and was very happy with my decision. All the teacher are active industry professionals that help you through all the makeup skills that are required to thrive in the industry. Aofm provided impeccable opportunities after graduation. Aofm provided opportunities for me to go backstage at the most prestigious fashion shows in London, Paris, New York, Milan, Greece and the most amazing show in Dubai with Jimmy Choo academy. With persistent hard work, Aofm provided me the opportunity to head my own shows in Fashion week. Which took my career to new heights. In addition to Fashion week the training at Aofm allowed me to join the film industry, Bridals and Red Carpet. With Aofm I was able to do makeup for celebrities who were attending British Style Awards, Red carpet at Cannes Film festival. It is like a dream come true! Joining Aofm was the best decision I made. With consistent hard work and amazing support and Opportunities provided by Aofm took my career to great heights in a relatively short time.”

“As a graduate of AOFM, I can say that it’s been an amazing experience to learn from the experienced industry professionals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise with the students. They all come from different fields such as fashion, glam, bridal makeup which provide opportunities to the students to learn varied techniques and tips from all the instructors. Moreover, there is absolutely great aftercare program for graduates. The training was quite intense but it was all worth it.”
