You can test many premium beauty products in there, build your first portfolio with professional photos and get the opportunity to participate in fashion shows all over the world. “One of my best experiences ever! I got the chance to enroll in AOFM's "The 6 Day Level 2 Foundation in Professional Makeup" and always regretted not being able to stay for more. I love that this course is accessible in different countries, as it gives opportunities to anyone around the world. Even as a beginner course, it covers all the essentials one needs to embark on this journey. Constructive criticism, personal tips and tricks from years of professional experience, and learning from several artists from different backgrounds and specializations were a few of the many things that give credit, professionalism, and beauty to this course. The environment was amazing. Students and instructors alike are very welcoming and helpful. Not only did I learn immensely from the talented instructors, but getting to work with the different students allowed me to better understand all the information that was being taught and gave me hands on experience to implement it, as well as pick up techniques from multiple aspiring artists. This academy and everything it offers fails to disappoint. I always hope for getting another chance to come back and progress even more.”

Jana and his team have done a wonderful job in setting up AOFM and have worked very hard to make the school what it is today. Every program has been carefully designed by the industry experts. “As a graduate of AOFM , I can definitely say that it's been an amazing experience ! AOFM is the only makeup academy in Dubai which covers all the topics that I wanted to learn for a decent price (especially if you book early). Also you can retake any of the classes for free! They got a great aftercare program and you will have the opportunity to attend masterclasses and possibly have a chance to join their pro team. AOFM is suitable for both beginners and professionals. If you're a beginner you will learn everything there is to know about makeup from A-Z in great detail and the trainers explains in a way that is easy to understand. If you're an experienced makeup artist you learn alot of creative techniques, have access to alot of products you wouldn't normally get to use such as an airbrush machine and sfx products and you will greatly improve your skills! I want to thank all the staff and trainers of AOFM for being so helpful and professional. Sara who's at the reception is very friendly and very informative, she told me all that there is to know about the academy and was always there to help us. Valentino, the educational manager is super knowledgeable with alot of experience in the industry and really pays attention to eveyones individual needs. Amanda and Ivana are also amazing trainers. They're both super knowledgeable, talented and have alot experience especially when it comes to working in the tv/film industry which a field I really want to get into. I will say that you need to go into this with full dedication and be very passionate about makeup because it is a very intense course but it's totally worth it. Overall, I'm very happy and satisfied with the course. I learned so much and made great connections there. I will most likely attend their other courses in the future especially for sfx.”

“My exeperience with AOFM was just fantastic! It gave me a real insight into the makeup industry and equipped me with skills and knowledge needed to develop myself as a makeup artist. I completed a 6 week professional hairstyling and makeup course and I loved that we had a chance to learn from different visiting hair and makeup artists and practice our skills on different face shapes and skin tones every day. We also had a chance to try out the best makeup brands and tools and experience their textures and application. Moreover, we were provided with professional models and photographers in order to simulate a professional photoshoot and backstage work. Every single day at the Acadamy was a new experience and a new challenge and I enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you Valentino and Jana for developing and delivering such an amazing course!”

“I took the 6 weeks "Dubai Complete Artistic Pro, Specialist in Hair Styling and Makeup Artistry" course. It is open to beginners. I graduated From AOFM last October 2022. I did a lot of research on this school before committing my savings and taking a change in direction in my life. It was the best decision I made to be with this school, these teachers, and my wonderful batchmate friends. Love you all. AOFM has now opened up a lot of opportunities for me. If I could give a million stars I would. They are not just a make-up school; they will help you to grow in your career as a make-up artist. All the teachers Nikki, Jade, Emily, JoJo, Betty , dani and Valentino provided by the academy are very supportive, knowledgeable, and talented. They have been in this industry for many years. I admire them so much they don’t just teach you they will prepare you for the road ahead. But to anyone who thinks it is easy, it is not. You need to be punctual and respect the teachers and what they are teaching you. The course is amazing, but not for people who do not want to work hard, listen, and learn. If you do not like rude people, then a career in make-up is not for you. You need to be strong and patient. Fashion and make-up roles are very demanding, long hours, lots of travelling and can be very tiring. So many people depend on you and how you perform in this school will show you if you have what it takes. Not everyone can pass. But I love it! To Valentino that has been there for all of us since day one, I will never forget you. You and the team have been amazing. So, thank you for everything you have done for me. You are very smart, talented, helpful, and so patient with us (well most of us!). Sarah, I can’t imagine AOFM without you. You keep the whole operation going. You always want the best for us, but God forbid if we are late!😅 Jana, you have been brilliant, funny, and amazing. I have really enjoyed my time at the course and would highly recommend it to everyone.”

“Best time of my life until was spent in Aofm!! Not even exaggerating because it’s been 8-9 months since I completed my course but till date I miss being in the academy. Our classes started with new challenges everyday but getting it done was such a fun journey. Our mentors especially Val and Jana always helped us out may it be in practising hairstyles, makeup or just helping us out with confusions regarding the work related to the industry. Sarah is also a sweetheart and like a sister to all of us. Besides this the academy offered top class education and training in makeup and hairstyling something that will always stick with us. On top of that they taught us etiquettes to be a good artist which has really helped a lot of us because some of us were literally new to all this and our mentors helped us nurture into confident individuals. I miss Aofm and can’t wait to go back there again.”

Throughout the course we met international teachers.Valentino and Sara was there for us through whole course and help us with anything we need.There is free Masterclasses after the course which is a big plus , I’ve attended few myself. “The Academy of Freelance Makeup (AOFM) is an international makeup school. I was lucky enough to attend the London Campus in 2010. Being the youngest in the class and also starting a new career can be extremely daunting, to say the least. My fears were put aside as I began the “Total Pro” Intensive 4-week course. The owners and staff working in the Academy are second to none and always on hand to rectify any situation. My class had pupils who came from all over the world, wanting to learn from the best of the best. The thing I most loved about AOFM was the teachers you got to learn from. Almost every day there was a new tutor, from a different country telling you stories about their career in the fashion and beauty industry, and teaching you their tips and tricks of the trade. Upon graduating from AOFM I immediately felt the benefits from their great aftercare package and helpful team; that even 10 years later continues to this day! Through this, I have been allowed to work on high-profile shows backstage in Milan, Paris, New York, Tokyo and London multiple times. I have assisted amazing Makeup Artists and have worked in fashion, film and television internationally. As a freelance makeup artist over the past ten years, I have worked for MAC Cosmetics, International films, Fashion brands working on campaigns, look books and E-commerce, private clients and editorials for magazines. The highlight of my time with AOFM will always be working on the Viktor&Rolf Show in Paris, (Please see my attached images.) I left AOFM with the make-up and business skills that have allowed me to be as successful as I could be and given me the confidence and support to go as far as I wanted to. I would highly recommend investing in your talent and training with AOFM.”
