“I recently purchased the cotton khaki boat neck abaya. It is very elegant & modest. I like how its loose & functional with pockets. Another plus being, it's made from cotton which makes it breathable & comfortable.”

“Overall, the dresses and abayas at AAB are of excellent quality. They must absolutely be washed on cold, otherwise they will shrink. In fact, if the fabric is a woven type, it is better to buy a longer length, because even on cold, the length will very likely shrink. This is not a given for every woven fabric, so buying is something of a gamble. Jersey fabrics seem to be fine and are very comfortable.”

“I really like the clothes and hijabs from Aab, they're really pretty and have made my modesty journey so much easier and better. I have some abayas, headscarf and sports clothes. The materials are usually nice as well, although some are quite thin and I'm not too sure of the quality, as it's only been a few months. No issues so far though! Some of the styles aren't as modest as I'd perosnally like, e.g. the floaty abaya has leg slits so then I have to wear tights and a slip, or a skirt under, so the abaya doesn't stick to my legs. Annoying, but manageable. I also find that my size is usually 58, but with Aab I go for 56 and it's perfect. The sizes are usually just a wee bit loose, which is perfect for me - I don't like skin tight clothing! I wish they'd do a bit more to be sustainable/ethical with their supply chain - how do we know where the materials come from? How do we know how much labourers are paid? Etc... but this is a common issue in clothing anyway. So I'm much more happy to support a company like Aab because they're catering to the muslim community.”

“I was looking at this dress for so long but my size was out of stock for ages. When I got the notification that its finally back in stock I bought it in my size. First of all delivery was very quick and the product was packaged well. The colour is gorgeous a true dark green and nice quality thicker crinkled material. The dress has lovely poet sleeves with elasticated cuffs so I can roll up, an a line cut that skims my body without revealing the shape but giving a nice structure. It flows well and overall is a classy simple look which is perfect for my job in a professional setting but also to wear on a day or evening out. I highly recommend. Only gave 4 stars at the moment as I haven't worn or washed it for long if it washes well and lasts will bump that up to 5 stars.”

“I love the cuts of aab maxi dresses. They have been sized very well and offer so many sizing options to get the best fit. They flatter my body shape by being tailored on top and looser lower down. They are modest without overwhelming the body too much.”

“There’s a wide selection of designs and sizes to choose from. Sometimes the sizing can be a bit odd, for example the arm length. The quality also varies - I’m assuming depending on which production batch the item comes from.”

“I have purchased from Aab since they opened their store in Upton Park, their abayas and midi dresses are well made and offer a wider selection in width as well as length. However, over the past couple of years, I have found their arm lengths for their 52" items to be the same length as their regular and long items. 52" customers are petite and lately I have been unable to find anything in the Aab range which isn't disproportionate. I speak from experience as I own three 52" length items that I have purchased in 2016, 2018 and 2020 where the arms are the correct length of someone 5ft or abouts. However everything else I have attempted to purchase after has been returned due to this change in sizing.”
