Also we do not rely solely on imports, we have many suppliers in our portfolio with many from the UK this allows us to provide the very best in oak, pine or painted furniture and also the ability to provide made to measure items too.

“Went into the store looking for a specific piece of furniture....spotted other unrelated items which we liked ....and ended up buying them instead!! Great impartial and helpful advice from John and even when there was slight 'hick-up' with our delivery it was resolved within the hour and without fuss! A great store and highly recommended - will use again!!”

“Excellent service, friendly helpful sales people and a good selection of reasonably priced furniture with delivery to suit. Any problems were dealt with quickly and easily with no fuss. Would (and have) definitely recommend this company as it’s so much nicer dealing with a small company rather than one of the big ones.”

“Blandford world of furniture are absolutely brilliant nothing is to much trouble and always willing to help. Mark and John looked after us whilst choosing our furniture. Delivery was very quick not like some of the other oak furniture stores we visited. Definitely will go back when we need some more.”

“Visited the Poole store and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Just moved into an unfurnished flat and got everything I needed in one place. Lots of choice and reasonably priced. Delivery was one week and everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend and will shop here again.”

“We needed to kit out a new unfurnished flat. John Carroll was excellent, so helpful and knowledgeable. It made the whole process a pleasure. Today the furniture was delivered, with such care and attention to every detail. A perfect experience. I strongly recommend this company and their furniture.”

“Needed to replace our worn out sofa and after extensive internet searches decided to give A World of Furniture a try. Had a few queries re various sofas on offer which were answered in a prompt fashion by John at the Blandford store and decided on the Midland 3 seater sofa which was on display at Poole. Excellent efficient & friendly in store service and sofa purchased in about 15 minutes. Delivery was just over a week from stock but unfortunately it wouldn’t fit through our front door! The two delivery guys went above & beyond and carried it through our rather tortuous rear garden and managed to manoeuvre it through the back door without the slightest scuff to the sofa. Overall a five star service and I would have no hesitation in recommending A World of Furniture to anyone and would certainly use again. Also, the sofa is great value and extremely comfortable.”

“Really pleasant showroom, much more inviting and ‘homely’ than other and more well known showrooms we’d visited. Was left to browse without being pressured and all prices clearly on show. Once we’d chosen our new bed, Mark was on hand and extremely helpful and offered sound advice. 5 stars. Easily the most inviting showroom we visited and we shopped around. Highly recommend.”

“Visited the Blandford store to purchase a bed and 2 settees at very competitive prices. The service from Barry and John was excellent, their are both very knowlegable, friendly, keen to help and advise. Nothing was too much too much trouble and I felt valued as a customer. The store has a good selection of furniture and I will be purchasing further items for my new home in the very near future. The store is a little treasure trove and I have no hesitation in recommending it.”

“A wonderful experience. I went into store to purchase a bad for my son and I ended up buying a bed, mattress, spare mattress and a TV stand. The store manager was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I last purchased from there around 2018 and I am glad to see the shop is still going strong and the stock is of a very high standard. If you want quality goods from a friendly team, make sure you pop into World of furniture, Blandford.”

“We visited the Blandford branch yesterday, wow what a gem of a store! Its absolutely wonderful. After visiting various different stores to purchase table & chairs, sideboard, tv table, nest of tables, hallway table & mirror we were not dissapointed when we walked into world of furniture. We were served by Barry who looked after us so well, he was helpful and most of all very patient! We would like to thank Barry very much. We were very happy customers!”
