“Very good quality meat. Very efficient delivery service but am not keen on polystyrene box and frozen gel packs. Could you use alternative packaging?”

“I ordered a quarter suckling pig for Christmas. I’ve used Alternative Meats in the past and know they are a brilliant company. They dispatched quickly. Unfortunately the delivery was delayed, but nothing to do with Alternative Meats, and they were more than helpful and friendly on the phone. Fearing my meat would be spoiled I bought another joint (from the supermarket) to make sure we had Christmas meat. Thanks to the fantastic packaging that Alternative Meats provide, my meat was delivered still frozen, and we enjoyed the best pork and crackling I’ve ever had on Christmas Day. 10/10 for service, attitude and quality.”

“Amazing service and delivery as described. Of course the food is second to none. The Wagyu burgers, oh my days, delicious. The sausage and bacon beautiful as always. Very high end food. “I decided to buy some meat from 'Alternative Meats' as Christmas presents for friends who appreciate good food. It was a success. The parcel arrived at the date I had specified and everything was packed safely with ice and special box. The comments from my friends have been excellent and I am sure Alternative Meats has gained some more customers. The Mangalitza sausages have been a special surprise.”

The Mangalitza Bacon is defintely a feather in our cap, Jessica, there is no denying! It's lovely to hear that our other products delight as well ... we often hear that some of them, such as Veal Liver, are difficult to find elsewhere and it's great to make products like that easily available.

“Dear Alternative Meats, I HAD given you a very good ratoing when I previously answered your questionnaire earlier however, since then we cooked the goose breast we had also purchased from you which we had for our New Year celebration dinner for just the two of us - we had really been looking forward to this but were extremely disapponted when we sat down with a glass of champagne and started our meal - it was the toughest and most tasteless goose we had ever cooked, and we have certainly had a few as we don't care for turkey. Very sorry, but not a good result so we won't be choosing that again! yours most sincerely Angus Lewis-Smith.”
