“Execlent service, arrived on time for a lovely weekend with friends. I had never tried Margalitza gamon before but it was absolutly delicious. The Ham and gamon on sale in most outlets has no fat and no flavour, but the margalitza gamon had both. Will be back again.”

“Got a voucher for my birthday and was a little unsure what to try. Went for the Steak Night as a safe bet and blown away by the flavours so far. Highlight for me was the ex dairy sirloin, so flavourful (mostly my cooking obvs) will shop and recommend.”

“We enjoy veal and it is not always easy to get hold of. The liver and kidneys ordered were delicious and also the cote de veau, which we have had before. Looking forward to roasting the joint of hoggett”

“The meat is lovely I purchased mainly venison there was a couple of items out of stock so a lovely lady Diane call to tell me which was most appreciated. Most of it was Frozen which was unfortunate I needed to cut it up into smaller pieces but never mind”

“It is so so good to have an exceptional butcher who delivers to your door the best quality meats and the more unusual meat products such as pig fat and veal bones. They also do a great range of Mangalitza pork. Reliable and friendly.”

“As always, the service from Alternative Meats was fantastic. I ordered a Hogget Leg for an Easter Sunday roast. We'd not had Hogget before, but after seeing it on GBM I thought we ought to try it out. Amazing! So much flavour! I also bought some packs of the Veal Cheeks which I slow-cooked in red wine for 4 hours - really tasty, so tender!”
