I'm working on a few of the YGA courses at the moment and the standard across them all is very high. The videos and printed material is comprehensive and easy to follow. This course in particular is perfect for me at this stage and has really helped me make a jump to the next level. Coming across these guys was a real find for me - I would recommend to anyone who's interested in improving their guitar skills.

I’ve tried many other Guitar Gym courses but this is by far the best one I have used. Dan a such a great teacher and motivator and for once I have found someone who is also on my musical wavelength. Highly recommended!!

I have bought dozens of online courses. This is the first course where I saw major improvement in my playing. And this was not after months of practicing, but within the first week and the first few lessons. The mixing of major and minor pentatonic is clearly explained with great examples and is a game changer to my lead playing.

I had purchased the Unlocking Major CAGED course earlier and I was absolutely thrilled with the content so when the Minor CAGED course it was a given that I would be purchasing that course as well. I was not disappointed! The systematic approach to the combination of chord, arpeggio, pentatonic and diatonic scales just makes sense. It is a very practical and effective way to acquire the tools necessary to effectively play melodic leads. Thank you.

Superb value for money. Well structured and easy to follow with a really good cross section of styles. This course is going to give me the impetus to pick up my guitar and practise as well as the enjoyment from learning new skills. Thank you!

Dan weaves the major pentatonic scale, major (diatonic) scale, and arpeggios into the CAGED instruction. He also puts together practice routines to assist with actually using the CAGED system in your playing. I've had several CAGED courses and this course is, by far, the best. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this course.

I haven't been able to practise the course content yet because I have just had a shoulder replacement operation. I will need 6 months of physiotherapy. It may be that long before I can start practising again. However, I am now 64 y.o. and started playing when I was about 15 y.o. I didn't play for 25 years while raising a family, studying, having chronic health problems, etc. Nevertheless, I know a good guitar course when I see one. I have a Bachelor of Adult Education degree and am able to dissect the content of a course and how it is taught. I also have numerous hard copy tutors from the 1970s. What is available today is so superior to what we had in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Everyone can learn to play the guitar today if they have the passion and determination. I am quite happy with the quality of the courses at Your Guitar Academy. Also, they are quite affordable, even though the Australian dollar is very weak against the GBPound.
