Really informative, can't complain about it really as I got it from Amazon with a guitar tuner bundled for free the first course, so it's really if anything given me a good insight into a top tutoring/learning site with loads of material. I will be buying some new courses in due time but still need to learn the first beginners level. Thanks a lot your guitar academy. Don't forget to subscribe as they add new material and free bonuses through email so you're always getting free goodies.

Tried to pick up a guitar a few times over the years and ended up giving up because it was too hard or I wasn't having fun or whatever. This Christmas I decided to stop being a baby and put some proper effort in, ordered a book and some plectrums and got a free guitar course with the plectrums I ordered! In about 10 weeks I have gone from useless to actually being able to sound competent at the guitar. Great course, actually fun to play, some good focus on techniques and I'm looking forward to starting the next one!

I have hundreds of online courses, literally, and this is by far the one that taught me the most in the least amount of time, and improved by soloing more than any other course I've taken from other sites. The only thing I would want more from this, is if there could have been a short section that taught beginners how to lay down the great backing tracks that were improvised and put in a looper during the course. Of course, B.B. never played rhythm, but still being able to solo over my own loop would have been great.

This is an excellent theory course taking you from the basics to greatly understanding music. Even if you have previously taken a theory course, Dan tutors in a way that ties elements of theory together that you may have missed or need a refresher. I had previously taken the RCM theory courses but found this one was very practical especially for guitar players. Thanks Dan for the great presentation of the material!

An excellent, laid back and thorough introduction to playing guitar for beginners. The course also allows, once you have learned just a few chords, to go away and practice on songs you want lear and yet still come back and learn more. An excellent purchase and I am really pleased I found YGA when I did.

I look forward to my lessons everyday! Teacher is a combination of down to earth and professional. Very easy to understand. I like that he misses in theory of guitar, as well. This helps me to better understand all this strings and frets. Coming from a classical pianist background, the structured approach is what I needed (I tried several!).

I'm working my way through electric guitar for beginners having first completed the excellent and enjoyable 30 day beginners challenge. The courses are easy to follow, fun and comprehensive. The tone of the lessons is relaxed and the host, Dan, is a likeable guy. Thoroughly enjoyed everything from YGA. Thanks
