Guitar Club is great. Well laid out and the tutorials, toolbox, and interactive tab make it easy to follow. I use it to supplement my weekly guitar lessons because sometimes I come out of there feeling like my head is spinning. This lets me do a review at my own pace and Dan and staff are great teachers.

The Guitar Club is really the holy grail of online guitar learning for a guy like me who wanted to focus on learning to play blues & indie/garage rock kind of music and have a clear path to get better at it. The player studies are on point and you really learn both the technique & theory behind how your favorite guitarists play and why. The new pathways system is only going to dial this up to 11.

After picking up the old guitar that I’d achieved very little with over the years, I decided to be more organised and take lessons. I looked at various websites but, after seeing Dan’s 30 Day Beginner’s Challenge on YouTube, decided to try it, and I’m glad I did. I ended up taking a year’s subscription and have achieved more in those 30 days than I have in the 50 years since I bought my guitar. Dan has a great manner as a teacher, encouraging but realistic in his approach, and obviously a very skilled musician. Likewise the other teachers who cover other aspects of playing. Lots of good additional material available on the website too, eg course notes, charts and, not least, the ā€˜toolbox’. It’s at least as good as having a personal tutor, probably better as things are explained and demonstrated so well, with the advantage of being able to replay each lesson as many times as necessary.

As a senior of 67, I started my guitar learning adventure 2 years ago. It is something I wanted to try most of my life but always seemed to have other things to do. Before using "Your Guitar Club" , I tried two other online learning systems. One was excellent and the other was too advanced for me. Neither were as polished, organized, and goal oriented as "Your Guitar Club". The instructors are very chill and present the material in a very organized and easy to understand way. All you have to do is listen, play along, and most importantly... practice, practice, practice. As Yoda would advise, " Practice you must! Or fail you will!

I am a complete beginner and find that the Guitar Club lessons are first class in helping me to learn to play the guitar from scratch. Dan is a great teacher and whilst his sessions are demanding they are not over taxing with everything laid out clearly and methodically. I particularly like the mix of practical and theory and the facility to repeat lessons. I frequently revisit earlier sessions to reinforce my learning. I cannot speak too highly of Guitar Club, it's just what I needed to help me learn.

I’ve tried a lot…I mean a lot…of online courses that boast about teaching guitar and getting you to a goal or ā€œmasteringā€ something. These guys get it. It takes practice, but they make it enjoyable and early on what you learn you get to put into real music and makes you feel like you’re actually moving the needle. Not a ā€œmasterā€ in some record setting time just solid lessons that progress with a feeling of accomplishment and learning in the process. And let’s face it listening to a Brit teach you is just fun!

I have been a YGA club member for a few years now and can genuinely say it is a great place to learn guitar at your own pace. The site is constantly updated with new useful content and feel it is very good value, there are also regular promotional offers.
