“This review has to start off with a shout out regarding Dan's teaching style...I teach high school for a living, and I must say that Dan's teaching abilities are top notch. He seems friendly, and creates "room" or "options" for his students--basically, he shows you a few ways to play and do things depending on your ability and natural style. He's not a pushover though, and he lets you know when there's just no way around certain techniques. I really respect this quality in a teacher! I'm one of those students that never reads books all the way through, and never completes a lesson series all the way through. I sort of take what I can use now, and leave the rest for later. Dan's Hendrix lesson series fit well with this approach. I could jump in at several points, pull something out that was immediately useful, and go. I came to these lessons looking for application--I play in a garage band with old friends that are way better at music than I am, and I needed to build a bag of tricks fast. After going through this series, it was so much more fun to play with friends because I had the ability to embellish, play solos that didn't sound like random notes, and just add way more texture to classic rock and blues staples than I was previously doing.”

“I love this concept for presenting backing tracks. The instructional resources that come with the individual tracks are absolutely great. I enjoy duplicating the suggest lead and rhythm patterns but I also enjoy incorporating the concepts presented in the Unlocking The Fretboard-Major CAGED course. With these two resources working together I'm going to be busy for sometime, just enjoying my guitar.”

“Another great and innovative product - backing tracks are all well & good, but this takes it 1 step further by outlining suggested progressions and boxes etc to play over ....and being unlimited...well, it was a no brainer for me!”

“Great quality tracks, but the real difference from all the others out there is the full tab of the track and notes to get you started with jamming over them. Really getting to put the ‘master your fingers’ course into practice!”
