While I think the concept is brilliant, I have an issue with the comfort of the finish of the Octopod itself. It could just be me, but, I really dislike sharp edged watches and their components i.e. cases, crowns, bracelets, clasps and buckles. I took a little time and polished all the sharp edges until they're rounded enough to be comfortable. It just made sense to have the most comfortable strap on the most comfortable folding buckle possible!

Brilliant! Transformed my Hamilton Khaki Titanium with one of the blue straps with the orange and white centre lines. Extremely easy to fit and once you've made some micro adjustments it's very comfortable and looks neat on the wrist. Threw my NATO straight in the draw, which is probably where it will stay

This OctoPod Folding Buckle is perfect. It change totaly the watch appearance from a Stardard Nato and is more compact and more "classy" The user manuel to path the strap correctly is missing and be careful there is a good way and a wrong way to position it with the watch. I'm very satisfied.

I purchased a Hamilton Khaki field watch on a metal bracelet which I felt was to clinical a look. I like nato straps and was after a strap that emulated that military feel. After a bit of research I found the ocotpod buckle and elastic strap. The colour combination of the strap I choose was similar to the original Marine National para elastic strap. A review stated that the strap and and buckle are difficult to fit, which is not the case. It's s a breeze to fit and there are guidance video's if you are unsure. The fit and comfort are amazing and I love the look it has given my watch. Another complaint is that the buckle is too thick. I don't agree as it adds to the ruggedness, balance and look of a tool watch. The finish is top notch and is packaged in a funky tin. Highly recommended.

I love nylon straps but don't like bulk of NATO setups. This sorts that and the end result is so neat. It doesn't look like an aftermarket option.

There aren't many companies that still innovate when their main product set has been around for so long (Watch straps for example) yet WatchGecko have done just that with this superb mechanism for having minimalistic nato straps but still have the convenience of a buckle. As an aside, the first buckle I received did have a fault where the mechanism wouldn't close flush due to some looseness. However the WatchGecko guys sent me a replacement buckle via Royal Mail Special Delivery which I received the next day. Can't fault their customer service.

I'm a longtime strap fan, and this new clasp system has triggered my curiosity. I must say it's very secure and easy to put on. The combination of octopod straps make it worth the price. I'd definitely recommend!

Originally I thought it was quite expensive but once received realised it was worth every penny, would definitely rival a lot of the top brand watch buckle's, a well made product that looks great
