“Have the mkII, and the mark III is better in all areas but one: the pins/bars. On the old one you can pop out the bars, which makes it really easy to install a new strap, and because you don’t have to pull the strap through, you minimize tearing etc. other than that, the markIII is superior, much better lock, smaller footprint, no sharp edges, so clearly an improvement, really like it!”

“The Zuludiver OctoPod MK3 buckle has rejuvenated the world of non-leather watch straps! The design is stunning with a variety of finishes offered. The MK3 is a more compact and comfortable iteration of the previous MK2 buckle and the presentation of the most secure and form-fitting watch straps on the market. I never find myself readjusting the position of the strap on my wrist because I hardly even notice I'm wearing it. With the OctoPod straps and MK3 buckle even a large, heavy wristwatch stays put and doesn't threaten to feel like it's going to "fall off the cliff", so to speak, on the wrist - it becomes integral and securely placed. Failure of one of the springbars will not cause the watch to fall off the wrist. Replacing a leather, rubber, sailcloth or any other material with one of OctoPods' wide selection of straps and the MK3 buckle will elevate the look and feel of any watch out there. “I have found the Zuludiver octopod system to be an excellent strap for dive watches which tend to be heavier than other watches. The octopod with the elastic strap gives a very comfortable fit.”

“I’ve always liked the look of natos but disliked the extra long floppy strap you need to tuck in…. This solves that problem perfectly, nice and neat, great buy, would recommend”

“I bought the original Mk1 version of the OctoPod buckle but found it too big and uncomfortable on my 6.75" wrist, when the third iteration was released I thought I'd give the Mk3 buckle another shot. It's a vast improvement from the Mk1 being that much smaller with slightly rounded edges and corners, I chose the mixed brushed and polished finish which looks good with the polished areas slightly depressed so protecting from scratches. The only irritations for me is it's still a faff to change straps and they still haven't released the Vintage Broze version!”
