“I have the pills, but I was under the impression that, having ordered 48 pills, I would receive a small box containing 48 pills, because an image of this was on the website when I ordered. Instead I received a large package through the mail containing 12 boxes of four pills each. I then spent a half hour cutting up the packaging to reduce it all so that I could fit them into one small normal pill box.”
Hi Christopher
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for your experience here with us, we value all insight from every customer so that we can ensure our service is valued by all.
This is a very popular form of medication which we provide in multiples of 4, which we have tried to make clear on our website by showing an image of the packaging indicating that 4 tablets are enclosed in each box. We have also listed all available quantities that you can select which are shown as, for example, 12 x 4 tablets for the 48 ordered.
I do want to apologise however if this was not clear, and our marketing team will review the webpage to understand if there is a more clear way we can show each patient the items that will be received.
Our support team have contacted you to help further to ensure that we can rectify this for you. We will also note your account so that on any future orders your preferred brand is provided to ensure you are happy with the future medications being provided.
Hi Vladimir,
Thank you for your recent feedback, we are always keen to learn how to improve our service and want to ensure we provide great service to all of our customers.
This is the first that I have heard of your experience and want to do what I can to help resolve this for you.
As you may be aware, the members of the Communication Workers Union within Royal Mail voted to take industrial action on the 26th and 31st August 2022 which has significantly disrupted the postal network across the UK.
This has resulted in a number of parcels regrettably being delivered later than anticipated, however, our website was updated accordingly ahead of the planned strikes, with revised delivery estimates so that you could plan accordingly.
All of our delivery services are provided by trusted nationwide services which offer tracking on all orders for security and convenience. Given the nature of the products that we provide, we understandably want to ensure deliveries are sent using reputable couriers, that offer tracked and insured services so that your medication is received in the condition intended, to the right patient.
The benefits of this allow us to email you as soon as your item has been collected by the courier with a tracking number which you can use to follow the progress of your parcel on its way to you.
Depending on the delivery service you choose to use, the courier can provide an estimated time of arrival to minimise any disruption to your day.
From your order, I can see that you chose to use the Free Tracked delivery service which is provided by Royal Mail and it is important for me to note that we do however offer a range of delivery options from both Royal Mail and DPD that you can find here https://www.theindependentpharmacy.co.uk/delivery-information which I hope gives you suitable options for delivery based on the urgency of the treatment required.
Customer satisfaction is important to us here at the independent pharmacy and I want to ensure you have a positive experience with us, therefore a member of our support team will be in contact with you shortly to help resolve this matter to your satisfaction.
