Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry the Whole Chicken didn't yeild an ideal result. Feedback of this nature is unusual - not being quite sure on the cooking time, it's hard to comment, although cooking a whole bird does present a challenge in terms of achieving perfectly cooked leg and breast meat.
We would advocate using a thermometer for best results - he ideal internal temperature for breast is 65°C, whilst leg is 75°C - we've found the depth of the breast of our birds is advantageous in that it is possible to achieve this. “This was really delicious. However it was only 1.8kg (so about 20% smaller than stated). I know the size of chickens can't really be controlled (!) but perhaps you should price by weight rather than by item so that people who get smaller chickens don't feel hard done by!”
