Very nice ham hock. I cook ham hock with whole allspice, onions and a few bay leafs. Then I served it with a mix of mashed potatoes, carrots and swede...and a bit of mustard. Just ordered a couple more of these since it's so convenient to cook in the slow cooker.

This makes a beautiful soup with plenty of meat left over to go into a toasted sandwich to eat with the soup.

Cooked overnight in a slow cooker with stock, honey and mustard. Loads of meat from it. Enough for eggs benedict for two and a large pot of soup with the cooking liquor. Very happy.
