“I had 20 family members coming for lunch. They all know their way around a salt beef sandwich. I bought 3 different salt beefs from 3 different butchers and Swaledale was voted the best one. Very much enjoyed. Boiled quite hard with carrots, celery, bay leaves, peppercorns and onions for about 5 hours. Delicious.”
