“Took me a long time to find this cut. It is great for long slow cooking and is a traditional American boiled dinner with potatoes and cabbage. Especially among Irish Americans and is the dinner for St Patrick’s day!! This was excellent and have bought it before and was very happy will buy it again and again. A real treat”
“The first salt beef I received was extremely fatty. Over an inch thick and more in certain areas. Complained. Was asked to send photos. Did and they agreed with me. I received a new roast the next day!!”
“Perfect. Cut in half. 1kg piece cooked overnight on low in the slow cooker. Absolutely gorgeous. Seems to get even yummier after a few days in the fridge.”
“Their salt beef is five stars, its a great supper dish for friends and family and makes a mean sandwich with the remains. This is always on my order sheet.”
“Delicious! A deep beefy flavour, small fat cap, not too salty. Ate boiled with notators, carrots, and cabbage on day one. Leftovers we made hash and Cuban sandwiches it was so solid it was easy to slice and melt in the mouth tender. I brought mine to boil with water in big pot, threw in 3 bay leaves, 1T pickling spices, 2 onions quartered. Then popped on lid reduced to low simmer for 2.5 hours adding my carrots, potatoes and cabbage the final 30-40 mins. One pot wonder! Pic is of my Cuban on a bagel!”
