Purchased these boots for a dual purpose, riding to work on my motorbike and to wear at work all day. Top quality boots made to a high standard. Very comfortable from day one. Would buy again.

First of all, what a fantastic service! Ordered and returned a few items and everything just works fine, which sadly can't be said about all e-commerce companies. On to the boots: I originally ordered a pair of 10.5 UK as my size 10 walking boots don't have enough room at the toe, however the 10.5 super grade para boots were simply huge on me. Changed to a pair of new (old stock 2012 I think) size 10 and they are perfect. These boots are roomy, which is great for me as I have wide feet and struggle with other boots and shoes. Pair of thick long socks and good to take on the world in these boots. They are superbly made with soft leather insides, quadruple last (upper) stitching, and a lot of padding. Worn these three times now: 5 mile urban walk to break-in, then a couple of 7 mile rural hikes. I feel like I could do anything in these boots as they are so comfortable and have confidence building support - simply the best boots I have ever owned! A note on the tread / sole: I saw on a short YouTube review that the reviewer doubted the tread pattern for muddy wet grassy hillsides, I suppose because the pattern is not a traditional muddy boot but 'looks' more like an urban pattern. Having done two extremely muddy walks with very steep grassy hills, I can confidently say that the tread clears the mud way better than the vibram soles of my last pair of walking boots, and the grip is fine. The boots clean up really easily too, although I have just ordered a big pot (seeing as there is a lot of boot) of black dubbin to keep them maintained. My only and very slight quibble is that the laces are a tad short, such that I can't double bow at the top eyelet, but this is easily fixed. Looking forward to many adventures in these boots and hope you guys do the same :-)

fast delivery and good price. these german para boots are the best. i have had pre-issued used before and they lasted 3 years before issues with the sole side seam splitting. a repair that is impossible without a resole, these brand new boots (manufactured 2016) are their direct replacement. these boots will get the same treatment, every day use and i mean everyday all day apart from a few weeks in summertime. Glad i took the plunge and bought the brand new this time they are perfect, no marks or flaws at all. comfortable straight away, only a few days to break in. Just have to hope the side seam sole issue doesn’t happen again. if i get 5 years out of these boots that will work out at £16 a year. not bad.

My boots arrived one day after ordering (free postage) The date of manufacture is stamped on the inner tongue: 05 12 (May 2012) so they are not exactly new, but they are clean, flawless, and have obviously never been worn before, so I'm very pleased with them. German para boots are quality kit - comfortable, durable, and highly water resistant. I've been wearing them for over 30 years, for work and hiking, but I've never had a "new" pair before. Just got to break them in now!

I have had a shed load of boots in my time, these are without doubt some of the best, I got them primarily as my winter boots and bike riding boots. Very good quality, good thick tongue sewn in, comfortable from the word go, very good fit ( size 9), don't really seem to need much in the way of breaking in, but that does not mean they are not a nice tough boot. Over all very pleased and would certainly buy another pair if and when these wear out, which could be sometime going on first impressions.
