“Very impressed with how quickly my order was processed and how quickly it was dispatched and received to my home in North Belfast. All the items i received were as described in the descriptions and the quality all excellent. Whilst there is a surplus shop almost local to me, the prices at Forces Uniform & Kit are far cheaper for much the same items in my local shop. I've no hesitation in recommending Forces Uniform & Kit and will be sure to return as a customer as soon as.”

“Ordered a pair of S-Grade boots that arrived mouldy. When I sent high quality photos of the issue, there was no dispute from the company over their condition, I was simply told by the General Manager that this was acceptable due to how they had been stored. My argument was that if their condition had changed during storage, then they should be re-classed to represent this. Returned for a refund and I am now out of pocket (postage both ways) over £14 for the luxury of looking at a pair of mouldy boots. I have also left a review on their product page, however it is yet to appear and only the glowing reviews are visible.”

We know it's been over a year since this review was left but Epic Militaria has just acquired Forces Uniform and Kit (now SurplusQM) and we're letting people know that we've made sweeping changes to our processes to align more with Epic Militaria's values. This includes clearer grading on the (vastly improved) website, internal QA and grading guides for staff, 60-day extended returns window and fast and friendly support team. We're sorry to hear you had such a headache previously with these mouldy boots and you ended up out-of-pocket - this isn't something we would let happen on our watch and we hope to get the chance to prove this to you.

Therefore, we suspect that your email provider was filtering our messages, or your SPAM filters were not allowing delivery successfully. “This is the third time I've purchased boots from these guys (grade 1), Austrian Half Lined, Swiss and now Dutch. Every pair absolutely amazing and with a good polish they're on par with my parade boots I wore back in my army days. Buy these for work as our issue boots are rubbish and I'm heavy footed. Customer service also outstanding. Cannot go wrong with boots from this company. Thanks Again!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I have bought a pair of altberg defender boots grade 1 but I think they were used a couple of times , briliant boots so I've ordered another pair of steel toe caps but one boot was different from it's pair but briliant customer service , replacement on its way , will recommend them 👍, thank you”

“Writing review on behalf of my dad who purchased an Austrian Olive green Field Jacket. Really pleased with the jacket having been after one for a good while, absolutely loves the old dusty smell, takes him back to the 80s when every town had at least half a dozen army stores. Really happy with the product, very fast delivery.”

“Absolutely perfect. Small/short, fit really well, large enough to go over trousers but not baggy in the legs (5ft 8, 32" waist). Condition was excellent; they look brand new. I couldn't be happier. I emailed the sales team to check I ordered the right product. They were really friendly and helpful. 100% happy with product and service.”

“These folk are remarkable. Stock is often unusual, always accurate in description, sizing info, and quality choice. Processing orders, despatch, delivery, turnaround on returns or refunds all highly efficient. Customer service friendly and helpful on queries. If there was a 6th Star they'd have it.”
