Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

“This is the second Ruffwear Flagline harness I have bought. I was so impressed with the first one I bought that I decided to get one for another of my dogs. It is a bit pricey but is worth paying the extra for as it is a very well made harness and ideal for dogs that might try to get out of one, which my dog did on a couple of occasions, which is why I bought her this one. She has not managed to slip out of this one.”

“Really cool and functional harness. Lovely colour and construction. It does sem a bit weak when the dog is pulling, so I think this is not for an every day walking harness at least for our dog's current pulling.”

Thank you for the feedback Laura - we love the teal colour in the Ruffwear range too. I have the same problem with pulling with my spaniel so I definitely understand your feelings on the Flagline not being an everyday harness, though it's great for walking in the countryside :)

“This is the 2nd one now and it fits great on my Cocker Spaniel. Secure fit, easy to adjust, slim profile and decent grab handle. Attachment point in perfect place and easily washable (either hose it down or fling it in washing machine).”

“The Flagline Harness is an excellent piece of kit in that it is extremely well made and lightweight. My main reason for buying the harness is that it slips over the dog's head and then you just snap the straps coming from the back panel into the chest panel receptors. This means for a dog like mine, who has had a front leg amputated, it doesn't have to balance on two legs while a leg is fed through the harness to put it on. I make it sound simple but I did have to do an awful lot of adjustment to get it as good a fit as possible. Also the harness is fine when it's first put on but slips round the body when the dog is moving about because without the supporting leg there isn't really anything to keep the front strap in place. This only would apply to a dog who, again like mine, has had its leg amputated from the shoulder. I expect this harness to last many years and I'm glad I have bought it.”

“This harness is the best discovery! Ideal for my blind staffie cross. Light yet strong enough to lift the dog when needed. Full belly part (not just three narrow straps!) makes the harness very comfortable when help with walking/getting on obstacles is needed. I would recommend to anybody for especially for dogs that need more support.”

“Ordered this for our Tibetan Terrier as it's a lighter version of her existing Ruffwear harness. Proving to be more comfortable than her heavier winter one. These are great harnesses giving good control of excitable dogs and the handle along the back is great for helping lift her into the car etc.”
