Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“This harness is a lot longer than the webmaster and much lighter. I think this will be a summer alternative, the webmaster feels a lot more sturdy and better made but as said previously the flagline is probably better for the hotter weather”

“Pups measured 21” around the chest but the S fits fine. She’s got a long body two but the handle makes quick work of picking her up and she isn’t bothered at all by the extra length. Only needs a quick spray to get looking as new after a muddy adventure. Time will tell about true durability but very impressed so far!”

Hello Martyn, They are fantastic harnesses and come with many hidden bonuses. There are adjustment points that make fitting dogs who have unusual body types easier to fit too. It is lightweight and trips to the beach got easier with the debris resistant lining within the belly part of the harness meaning no rubbing of sand or mud! “Love this harness and so does my pup! The double straps under his belly mean pressure is more evenly distributed across his body and the lead attachment in the centre of the back has the same effect. The design means he has great range of movement in his shoulders which is great for running and hiking, and the handle is brilliant for helping him over tricky terrain and stiles. Lastly, it’s so easy to wipe down after a mucky walk or run and dries really quickly.”

“Fabulous harness, love, love, love it. I have a Frenchie who is stocky at the front narrow waisted and has a decent size head. This harness fits her so comfortably and as she is small for her breed, it is great that it is lightweight. Previous harnesses sat too high on her throat. Not this one, love her new ruffwear harness. Also because it clips round her tummy and ribs, when picking her up using the handle she does not topple forward.”
