First time in a glamping pod and won't be the last, really enjoyed to experience. Good communication from the owners, even sent us an e-mail to notify us one of the nearby pubs/restaurants would be shut during our visit, however there was another gastro pub about two miles away, so wasn't really an issue. The pod itself was easy to find, very clean, comfortable and wanted for nothing. The actual site was in a lovely position and the pod we booked was private. Overall we had a great time and would certainly book again.

What can I say, the pod was spotless! It had everything you could want or need for a family. Clean sheets, towels, plenty of cleaning products and every utensil you could want. Milk and butter provided, with an extra touch of chocolate and shortbread was lovely. Pod was warm and the location was exceptionally quiet within driving distance of both Kendal and Windermere. Will definately be rebooking!!

We had a fantastic stay in the pig pod. We really enjoyed how peaceful and private the location was, and loved starting our day with a cup of coffee and a beautiful view just outside the window! Would definitely stay again.

First time in the Pig Pod and had a great few days. Everything was clean, tidy and functional. The pod was surprisingly comfortable and had sufficient facilities for 2 adults and a 10 year old to have a really enjoyable break. Would recommend to others.

Brilliant little pod for a week in the lakes. The owners have literally thought of everything. Unlike some glamping experiences you tend to have to bring a few bits ( washing up liquid, fire lighters, tea towels, tuperwear etc.) not here though! just turn up with you clothes for the week. The little touches were really appreciated, you can tell the owners want you to enjoy everything. My kids loved being on a working farm, seeing the cows come in early and go out, and the horses and sheep in the field. Loved the fact it’s a small site, and the landscaping around the pods, with the fire pit, patio and picnic bench makes it feel very ‘glam’ping. We will be back !

We loved the pig pod. It was our first experience of staying in a pod and it was great and went 100x better then we expected.
